In short

Liftup Technologies provides social media marketing for Irish businesses, working remotely from India. The service covers content planning, design and short video, scheduled posting on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok, community replies in agreed hours, and paid campaign setup with clear tracking. Calls are booked in Irish working hours, and a fixed quote follows a short call.

Which channels fit which Irish business

Dublin is the EU home of several large social platforms, but that does not decide where your customers are. Pick channels by the buyer, then by your capacity to feed them.

BusinessLead channelContent that works
Café, salon, retail shopInstagram and FacebookDaily-life posts, offers, short videos of products and staff
Professional servicesLinkedInPractical explainers, deadlines, team news
Trades and home servicesFacebook and Google Business ProfileBefore-and-after jobs, county coverage, reviews
B2B and softwareLinkedIn and YouTubeProduct walkthroughs and customer questions
Brands for under-30sTikTok and InstagramFast, honest short video

A narrow, regular plan beats a wide, patchy one. We usually recommend two channels at first.

Group chats and word of mouth still carry weight in Irish towns, so a post that people share with a friend can beat a paid ad. Ask customers for photos with permission, feature local events your staff attend, and credit people by name. A cafe in Galway and a solicitor in Cork need very different voices, and we write each in the owner's own way.

Calendar and tone for Ireland

Irish tone is warm and dry, and heavy sales language lands badly. Use Irish place names and spellings, check humor with a local reader, and avoid stereotypes or leprechaun clichés. We work from a calendar tied to dates your customers care about.

  • St Patrick's Day on 17 March and Seachtain na Gaeilge around it.
  • Easter, the first May and June bank holiday weekends, and summer festival and holiday season.
  • Back to school in late August and the Leaving Cert results in the autumn.
  • Black Friday, the Late Late Toy Show in November and the run-up to Christmas.
  • Local sport, including GAA club seasons, which suit community posts and sponsorship tie-ins.

Irish bank holidays fall on Mondays or on fixed dates and differ from India's, so we mark both calendars in the schedule.

Plan content around a few repeatable formats rather than a blank page every morning, for example a Monday tip, a mid-week customer story and a Friday offer. Repeatable formats are quicker to produce, easier for your staff to feed with photos, and easier for followers to recognise.

Ads, consent and content rules

Paid social adds legal duties. Check specifics with your solicitor, and expect the following to come up.

  • Ads and sponsored posts must be identifiable as advertising. Influencer posts need a clear disclosure, under Irish advertising standards and consumer protection rules.
  • Custom audiences built from customer lists, and pixels on your site, need a lawful basis and consent under GDPR and the ePrivacy Regulations 2011. The Data Protection Commission oversees these rules in Ireland.
  • Meta limits targeting options for ads that reach under-18s in the EU, and Ireland's digital age of consent for data processing is 16.
  • Health, money and alcohol claims are tightly controlled. We do not publish promises we cannot support.
  • Competition rules: if you run giveaways, publish terms, closing date and winner process.

Social platforms sit under online safety rules supervised in Ireland by Coimisiún na Meán. For a business page the practical point is moderation: reply to complaints, remove abuse and keep a record.

How we run the work

  1. PlanGoals, audience, three content themes and a monthly calendar.
  2. CreateDesign, copy and short video, sent for your approval a week ahead.
  3. Publish and replyScheduled posts, with replies in Irish business hours on agreed days.
  4. ReportReach, saves, clicks and enquiries, with notes on what to repeat or drop.

India is 5.5 hours ahead of Ireland in winter and 4.5 hours in summer, so evening replies from your side are handled in our next morning. We agree an escalation route for anything urgent, such as a complaint that needs the owner. Photos and video from your site are the strongest content, and we guide staff on shooting them on a phone.

Each month closes with a short report in plain language. It lists which posts earned saves, replies and website visits, which ones fell flat and what we change next month. We also tag links so that enquiries from social posts can be seen separately in your analytics, with consent respected.

Price

Projects start at $1,500, with extra hours at $30. A small monthly programme of a few posts a week on two channels sits near the start. Video, paid campaigns, community management and several accounts add to the cost. Ad spend is separate and paid by you to the platform. See our social media marketing service and the digital marketing overview. Quotes are in US dollars.

Questions, answered

Do you post for us or only plan?
Either. We can plan and create content for your team to post, or schedule everything from your accounts with a login that you control.
Can you handle Irish-language posts?
Only with a fluent reviewer on your side. We would rather skip Irish than publish text that reads badly.
Do you manage Meta ads?
Yes. We set up campaigns, audiences and tracking, and report cost per enquiry. Ad budget is paid directly by you.
Who owns the accounts?
You. Pages, ad accounts and content stay in your name, and we use partner or staff access.
Will social media help my search rankings?
Not directly, but it builds brand searches and brings people to your site. Pair it with SEO for Irish businesses.
How many posts a week do you suggest?
Three to five posts a week on two channels is a realistic level for most small firms. Consistency matters more than volume.
