In short

Liftup Technologies provides ecommerce SEO for Singapore online stores, working remotely from India with calls in Singapore working hours. We audit category and product pages, fix indexing and faceted navigation, add product schema with GST-inclusive prices, and plan content around sale periods such as 11.11. You receive a fixed quote after a short call.

The Singapore store problem

A Singapore store competes on two fronts. Marketplaces such as Shopee and Lazada often take the top results for product searches, while global retailers ship in and set price expectations. A brand store that copies manufacturer text and thin category pages has little reason to appear above either.

The way through is to own what a marketplace cannot: clear category guides, honest comparisons, local delivery and returns information, and product pages with more useful detail than a listing. Search also tends to be specific and local, such as delivery within Singapore, same-day options or items for small HDB living spaces.

What the work covers

  • Crawl and index audit: duplicate URLs from filters, out-of-stock handling, pagination and sitemaps.
  • Category pages rewritten to match how Singaporeans search, with buying guidance and internal links.
  • Product pages: unique descriptions, size and specification tables, reviews that are real, and FAQ blocks.
  • Product schema with price, currency SGD, availability and shipping details.
  • Feeds for Google Merchant Center so free listings and Shopping match your site data.
  • Content for sale periods and gifting seasons.

Good product pages in Singapore also answer practical doubts: is it in stock locally, how fast does it arrive, can it be returned, does the price include GST. Putting these answers in the page text and in structured data helps both shoppers and search engines, and it is where a brand store can beat a thin marketplace listing.

Marketplaces and your own store together

Many brands sell on Shopee and Lazada and on their own domain. We do not tell you to leave marketplaces. We keep your brand pages the canonical source of product information, so titles, images and specifications are consistent, and the store captures branded searches. Reviews that happen on a marketplace should not be copied to your site unless you have the rights to do so.

Planning around sale periods

Shopping spikes land around 9.9, 11.11 and 12.12, Lunar New Year gifting and mid-year sales. Search interest builds before the day itself. We schedule category refreshes and landing pages four to eight weeks ahead and keep the sale URL permanent year to year, updating it rather than creating a new page.

Language and search behavior

English dominates store searches, but not exclusively. Some categories, such as food, festive gifts, baby products and wellness, draw Chinese-language queries, and a few draw Malay. We check Search Console and keyword data before deciding whether translated category pages are worth building. When they are, we build them as real pages with hreflang, not an automatic widget that rewrites the page in the browser, since search engines may not see that text.

Mobile matters even more. Product images need to load quickly on phones, filters need to work with a thumb, and the checkout should not hide delivery cost until the last step. We run speed checks on category and product templates, not only the home page, because those templates carry most of the traffic.

For stores that also sell to Malaysia or Indonesia, we plan separate country sections with their own currency, shipping and language, linked by hreflang. Singapore is often the first market and the hub, but a single English page with a dollar sign changed is rarely enough for a neighbor market.

Pricing and working pattern

Projects start at $1,500 and our rate is $30 an hour. Catalog size, platform limits and the amount of content to write move the price. See the ecommerce SEO cost guide. Singapore is 2.5 hours ahead of India, so reviews fit comfortably in your working day, and you get a written update after each phase. For the general scope, see our ecommerce SEO service page.

Questions, answered

Can a small store outrank Shopee in Singapore?
Not for every product search, and we would not promise it. We target category guides, brand terms and specific long queries where a focused store can compete.
Do you work on Shopify, WooCommerce and others?
Yes. We work across Shopify, WooCommerce and custom stores, and adapt fixes to what each platform allows.
Should prices in schema include GST?
The price in schema should match what shoppers see on the page. Because consumer prices are generally shown with GST included, the figures usually carry GST. Confirm with your accountant.
How do you report progress?
From your Search Console and store analytics: impressions, clicks, indexed pages and revenue from organic traffic, with notes on what changed.
Do you also run Google Shopping?
We prepare the product feed and listings data. Paid campaign management is outside this service, and we will say so in the quote.
