Website design for property management
Website design for property management companies
A property management site serves two very different people: the owner who might hand you their building, and the tenant who needs a leak fixed. Both visit, and neither should have to dig for their page.

In short
Liftup Technologies designs websites for property management companies in the USA, UK, Australia and Ireland. The site gives owners a clear route to request a rental analysis, gives tenants a login and maintenance request area, and shows available rentals from your management software. Projects start at $1,500, and you receive a fixed quote within one working day of a short call.
Owners, tenants and applicants
Your best customers are property owners, but most website visits come from tenants and rental applicants. A site that is designed only for owners frustrates the people who use it daily; a site designed only for tenants forgets that owners pay your fees.
We split the site into three clear doors. Owners get a page explaining what you manage, what you charge and how a handover works, with a form to request a rental analysis. Tenants get a portal login and a maintenance request button at the top of every page. Applicants get available listings, screening criteria and an application link.
The owner page does the selling. Owners want to know about rent collection, tenant screening, maintenance handling, inspections, reporting and fees. A plain description of your fee structure, even with a range, filters out the wrong enquiries and builds trust.
Connecting to your management software
Most property managers run software such as AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi or Rent Manager in the US, or equivalents elsewhere. These products already handle listings, applications, payments and maintenance. The website should link to them well, not copy them.
| Function | Where it lives | What the website does |
|---|---|---|
| Available rentals | Management software listings feed | Pull listings into your own branded pages with photos, filters and map |
| Rental applications | Software's application form | Link from each listing; explain criteria and fees |
| Tenant payments and portal | Software's resident portal | Prominent login button; help page for first-time users |
| Maintenance requests | Software's request form or your own | Mobile-friendly form with photo upload; emergency instructions |
| Owner portal and statements | Software's owner portal | Separate owner login link |
| Owner leads | Your CRM | Rental analysis form feeding the CRM with property details |
Where the vendor offers a listings feed or embed, we use it so a unit marked rented disappears within minutes. A stale listing is the most common complaint about property sites.
Maintenance requests deserve extra care. Tenants send photos, and an emergency such as a burst pipe or no heating needs a different route from a dripping tap. The request page tells people which phone number to use for urgent problems and what counts as urgent, so the office is not buried by routine items at night.
Housing law and tenant fairness
Housing advertising and tenant screening are regulated. In the US, the Fair Housing Act forbids discrimination in rental advertising and screening, and state and local laws add more. In the UK, rules on tenant fees and agent redress apply, in Australia the tenancy law of each state, and in Ireland the residential tenancies framework. Check wording with your lawyer. For the website, this means listing language is neutral, screening criteria are applied the same way to everyone and any fees are shown clearly.
Accessibility matters in housing, both for the people using the site and for the units themselves. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, and the ADA's web guidance is a useful reference. We add accessibility details to listings where you have them, such as step-free entry.

Owners search for property managers by town and property type, such as property management for single-family homes in a named city. Neighborhood and city pages that describe local rent levels in general terms, tenant demand and the types of building you manage help you appear for those searches. Avoid quoting figures you cannot source. Our SEO for property management page explains how those pages are planned.
Owner testimonials, sample statements and an explanation of your onboarding steps help an owner picture working with you. A short video of a real walk-through is also persuasive, if you have one.
How we work and pricing
We work remotely from Pune and book calls in your working hours. The steps are intake on your portfolio and software, a plan for the three doors, design, a build on WordPress or Webflow with your listings feed, and tests on phones. Your team learns how to update pages.
Projects start at $1,500, and our rate is $30 an hour. A small manager with a portal link, owner page and listing embed is near the floor. A larger portfolio with a custom listings feed, many neighborhood pages and multiple offices takes longer. We give a fixed quote after a short call. For general cost drivers see website cost, and for our approach read website design.
After launch, the pages that change are rental listings, the fees page and neighborhood notes. Listings update from your software, and staff edit the rest in a simple editor, so the site stays current without a developer on call.
