Website design
Website design company for businesses that sell on trust
We decide what each page says and in what order before we choose a single color. Then we design, build and test the site on the platform that fits your team.
In short
Liftup designs websites by working backwards from the one action a visitor should take. We agree the page list and the order of sections first, design the key templates for mobile and desktop, then build and test on real devices. A small business site usually takes five to eight weeks. You get a fixed quote after a short call.
What website design means here
Website design is the work of deciding what each page says, in what order, and how it looks and behaves on a phone and a laptop. It comes before development. A site built without those decisions often looks finished and still converts poorly, because nobody agreed what a visitor should do next.
We design in a fixed order: the goal of the site, the page list, the content on each page, then the visual layer. Style comes last on purpose. Colors and type are easy to change later. A wrong page structure is expensive to fix after launch.
Who this suits, and who should use a template
This is for owners and marketing leads who need a new site, or a new look for an old one, and who can supply real content: services, photos, proof, and prices where relevant. It fits service firms, clinics, manufacturers, course sellers and small online stores.
You may not need a design studio. If you sell one simple offer and need something live this week, a good platform template, edited with care, costs less and is often enough. Come to us when the site has to explain something, build trust before a call, or carry a brand that a template cannot.
How we design a website
- Short call and one-page briefWe ask who visits, what they want, what stops them and which single action matters most. You approve a one-page written brief before any design starts.
- Page list and content orderWe list every page, then outline the section order on the five that carry the most weight. This stage is plain text in boxes, with no color, so feedback stays on substance.
- Key templatesThe home page, one service or product page and one conversion page (contact, application or checkout) are designed mobile first, then desktop. You review through a shared link, with one consolidated round of comments per template.
- Design systemColors, type scale, spacing, buttons, forms and image rules are written down, so pages added later still match.
- Build and testWe build on the platform you choose: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or Next.js. Pages are tested on real phones, with keyboard navigation and color contrast checks.
- Launch and handoverRedirects, analytics, Google Search Console and every form are checked on the live site. You receive a written note on how to edit each page type.

Get a proposalWorked example: the order of a home page
The most useful design decision is usually the order of sections. The brief for Belvra was a single-product Shopify store that had to explain the formula, show how to use it and let shoppers add the mask to their bag from the first screen. A home page that follows that brief is built from the questions a first-time visitor asks, in this order.
| Block | Visitor's question | What goes in it |
|---|---|---|
| First screen | Is this for me? | Product name, one-line promise, add to bag button in view |
| Formula | Why this one? | Each key ingredient and what it does, in plain words |
| Routine | Will I use it wrong? | Three short steps and how often |
| Reassurance | What if it does not suit me? | Shipping, returns, how to reach a person |
| Closing prompt | Ready? | The same add to bag button again |
There is no brand story near the top. A story helps, but it answers a question few first-time visitors ask, so it sits lower on the page.
What you get and how long it takes
- The written brief and a page list with content outlines
- Designs for the home page, one service or product page and one conversion page, for mobile and desktop
- A written design system your team can reuse
- The finished site, built and tested on the platform you picked
- A handover note and a launch checklist with every item ticked
| Project size | Typical design and build time |
|---|---|
| Landing page or 1 to 3 pages | 2 to 3 weeks |
| Small business site, 5 to 12 pages | 5 to 8 weeks |
| Store, course site or 20+ pages | 8 to 14 weeks |
Content and feedback speed move these ranges more than anything else. The Interakt landing pages were delivered in two weeks against a fixed deadline, which is what a tight scope allows.
How we report and where the work has shown up
During the build you get a weekly update: what was finished, what waits on you and what comes next. After launch, we review page-level results from your own Google Search Console and analytics at 30 and 90 days, and suggest design changes where a page underperforms. Reports come from your accounts, not ours.
For a clinic, MVR LSM Clinic needed two clear paths, a self-paced online program or a one-to-one consultation, with the Chief Diabetologist's approach up front. For a wedding atelier, Gātha needed a site that reads like an atelier and an application that asks for dates, scale and budget before the first conversation. Both are examples of design decisions that came from the business model, not from a style preference.
