In short

Liftup Technologies provides social media marketing for Italian businesses, working remotely from India with calls booked in your morning. The scope covers channel strategy, an Italian-language content calendar, design, posting, community replies in agreed hours and optional paid campaigns. You get a fixed quote within one working day of a short call, and you own every account.

Which channels fit which Italian business

Social media works differently for a pasta producer, a notary and a machinery exporter. The first job is to pick channels where your customers already spend time, and to say no to the rest.

BusinessMain channelsContent that works
Food, wine, fashion, designInstagram, Facebook, TikTokProcess, workshop and product visuals, recipes, short video
Local trade, clinics, restaurantsFacebook, Instagram, Google Business ProfileOpening hours, offers, staff, local events, reviews
Professional practicesLinkedIn, InstagramPractical explainers, updates on rules, team profiles
Export manufacturersLinkedIn, YouTubePlant footage, product launches, trade-fair presence, technical tips in English

We keep the channel list short. Two channels done steadily beat five channels done in bursts.

The Italian content calendar

Italy has a strong calendar of holidays and seasons that shape posting. Easter and Pasquetta, 25 April, 1 May and 2 June are public holidays that often become long weekends. Summer brings local food festivals and a slowdown around Ferragosto on 15 August, while September is a restart for work and school. The run-up to Christmas is long, with Black Friday earlier in the season. Winter and summer sale periods are set at regional level, so check the dates each year before announcing them.

  • Plan three months ahead and keep slots free for news about your own business.
  • Prepare holiday posts in advance, but leave a person on call for replies.
  • Use real faces and places. Followers can tell stock images from the workshop next door.

Rules and etiquette for Italian social media

  • Advertising disclosure. Sponsored posts and paid partnerships must be clearly marked. Italy's competition authority (AGCM) and the advertising self-regulatory body publish guidance, including for influencers. Ask your lawyer to review any influencer contract.
  • Prize contests. Giveaways and contests (concorsi a premio) are regulated in Italy, and a casual giveaway can fall under the rules. Have a lawyer check the mechanism before you launch one.
  • Personal data. Lead forms, direct messages and tracking pixels involve personal data. The Garante supervises GDPR in Italy, so you need a privacy notice and consent for tracking, in line with the 2021 cookie guidelines.
  • Images and people. Do not publish photos of customers or staff without permission, and take extra care with children.
  • Reviews. Never write fake reviews or ask staff to do so.

These are planning notes, not legal advice. Your lawyer confirms what applies.

Organic and paid social

Organic posting builds trust and gives your sales team something to point to. Paid campaigns on Meta platforms and LinkedIn bring reach faster and can be run in small, measurable tests. We set up conversion tracking that respects consent, so numbers in the dashboard match your enquiries. Ad budgets are paid by you directly to the platform. For stores, social proof and product feeds connect to your shop, so read about Shopify development in Italy and ecommerce SEO as parts of the same funnel.

We keep the reporting honest. Followers and likes are easy to count but weak signals for a business. We track enquiries, messages, store visits where you can measure them, and sales that buyers link to social posts when asked. If a channel brings only applause, we say so and suggest moving the effort elsewhere.

How we work from India

  1. PlanGoals, audience, tone of voice and channel selection in one call.
  2. CreateItalian copy and designs for a month ahead, using photos and clips you supply.
  3. ApproveYou review the month in a shared board. Changes happen before posting.
  4. Publish and replyScheduled posts; replies during agreed hours, with sensitive comments passed to you.
  5. ReportMonthly summary from the platforms' own analytics.

Italian morning hours match our afternoon. Rome is 3.5 hours behind India in summer and 4.5 hours behind in winter, so replies to evening comments wait until the next working day unless you agree on another cover.

Small budgets work best with a clear test plan. We suggest starting with two audiences and two creatives, running them for two weeks, and then moving spend toward what produced real enquiries. Retargeting people who visited your site or watched a video usually costs less than reaching cold audiences, though it needs consent-aware tracking in Italy.

Pricing

Projects start at $1,500, and the rate is $30 an hour. After a short call you get a fixed quote within one working day. Price moves with the number of channels, posts per week, video work and whether you add paid campaigns. Ad spend is separate. See the main service page for social media marketing and the wider digital marketing offer. Quotes are in US dollars.

Questions, answered

Will posts be written in Italian?
Yes. Copy is written in Italian for your audience, with a native reader you nominate checking tone.
Can you manage our accounts without owning them?
We work inside your accounts as a manager. You stay the owner and can remove access at any time.
Do you handle influencer campaigns?
We can help brief and track them. Contracts and disclosure wording should be checked by your lawyer.
How do you measure results?
Reach, engagement, enquiries and, where tracking is consented, conversions. The numbers come from the platforms and your analytics.
Do you need an Italian office?
No. Work is remote, and we book calls in your working hours.
