AI agents for B2B

AI agents for B2B companies with long sales cycles and messy data

B2B revenue teams lose hours to account research, CRM upkeep and questionnaires that repeat the same answers. An agent can do the first pass on each, while reps keep the conversations that win deals.

In short

A B2B AI agent works inside your CRM, inbox and document store to research accounts, update records, draft follow-ups and assemble answers to security questionnaires and RFPs. Liftup Technologies builds these agents with permission levels, so the agent drafts and logs while your reps send and decide. The aim is fewer admin hours per deal, not automated selling.

Where B2B teams lose the week

A mid-sized B2B team rarely lacks leads or tools. It lacks clean records and spare hours. Reps paste notes into HubSpot or Salesforce after calls, or do not. Marketing hands over leads with half the company data missing. A security questionnaire lands and the same twelve people answer questions they answered last quarter. Pre-sales engineers spend a day on an RFP that is mostly copy from older bids.

These tasks share one trait: the answer exists somewhere in the company, and the work is finding and arranging it. That is the kind of job a tool-using agent does well, provided it is boxed in with clear rules.

Four agents we are asked for most

Account research agent

Takes a company name, reads the public site and your CRM history, and writes a one-page brief with likely stakeholders, recent news and open questions. Reps read it before the call.

CRM hygiene agent

Reads call transcripts and emails, proposes field updates and next steps, and waits for the rep to accept. Over time it flags deals with no recent activity.

Questionnaire and RFP agent

Searches your approved answer library and policy documents, drafts responses with the source cited, and marks anything it could not support so an expert fills the gap.

Quote desk agent

Reads an incoming quote request, checks the price book and configuration rules, prepares a quote for approval and logs it against the opportunity.

Each is a separate build. Most teams start with one and add the next once the first has proven itself.

The agent never changes a price, a discount or a contract term on its own. Those stay with people who are accountable for the margin.

Guardrails specific to B2B

  • Customer data: agents read only the accounts a rep owns, and customer names do not leave your systems except through providers whose data terms you have approved.
  • Outbound email: drafts only, until your team has read enough of them to trust a category. Rules on unsolicited commercial email differ across the US, UK, Ireland and Australia, so check consent and opt-out handling with your lawyer.
  • Questionnaire answers: every answer cites the policy or document it came from. Anything without a source is flagged, because a wrong security claim in a signed questionnaire is a real liability.
  • Prompt injection: inbound emails and web pages are treated as untrusted text. Our AI agent security checklist lists the controls.

Pilot plan and price

A typical start is a four to six week pilot on one team. Week one is a review of 30 to 50 past examples. Weeks two and three build the agent against copies of your data. The remaining weeks run it beside your reps, with each output approved and edits recorded. At the end you have an edit rate and a time-saved figure from your own work.

Projects start at $1,500 and our rate is $30 an hour, so a single-agent pilot is a modest commitment. The quote grows with the number of integrations and the volume of documents the agent must search. You get a fixed quote within one working day of a short call. Questions, answered

Will an agent replace our SDRs?
That is not what we build. The agent prepares research and records so people spend their time on conversations. If you want automated outreach, we design it with approval and clear opt-out handling, and tell you where we think it would hurt your brand.
Which CRMs do you work with?
HubSpot and Salesforce are the most common, and Pipedrive and Zoho come up often. Any CRM with an API works. We connect with a dedicated service user and scoped permissions.
How does the agent avoid making up answers in an RFP?
It answers only from documents you approve and cites them. When nothing in the library supports an answer, it says so and routes the question to a named expert.
We are a 20-person company. Is this too big for us?
Not necessarily. A single agent, such as account briefs or CRM updates, suits a small team. We would also tell you if a simple workflow in n8n or Zapier would do the job for less.
Where does the work happen?
Remotely. The team is in Pune with offices in Coventry and New York, and calls are booked in your working hours with a weekly demo.
