In short

Liftup Technologies provides AI search optimization for Norwegian businesses, working remotely from India. We audit how AI tools describe your company, fix inconsistent facts across your site and directories, restructure pages into quotable answers, add structured data, check crawler access and test Norwegian and English queries. Results vary by tool, so we report what we observe. You get a fixed quote after a short call.

What changes when answers come from AI

A traditional search result lists ten links. An AI answer summarises a few sources and may name two or three companies. If your facts are vague, or your pages are hard to read for software, you may be left out or described wrongly.

The groundwork is the same as good SEO: clear pages, trusted sources, consistent facts. The added work is making each page easy to lift out as a short, accurate answer. Our SEO vs GEO comparison explains where the two meet.

Mentions also come from outside your site. Reviews, trade press, association pages, partner listings and forum answers all feed the picture that AI tools build. We list the outside sources that already mention you and the ones that should, and plan outreach that is honest and relevant.

Entity facts for a Norwegian company

AI tools build a picture of a company from many places. When those places disagree, answers get muddled. We start by fixing the facts.

FactWhere it should matchWhy it matters
Legal name and organisation numberSite footer, Brønnøysund register, Proff, Gule Sider, LinkedInHelps tools tell you apart from similar names
Address and service areaSite, Google Business Profile, directoriesLocal queries rely on it
Services and pricesService pages and structured dataTools quote what they find
Founders and key peopleAbout page, LinkedInBuilds trust and attribution
Customers and case studiesCase pages, with permissionShows evidence, not only claims

For a Norwegian company, the Brønnøysund register is the official source, so the name and number on your site should match it exactly.

Writing for Norwegian queries

People ask AI tools in Norwegian and in English, and the answers differ. A question about an accountant in Bergen is likely asked in Norwegian, while a question about a marine sensor supplier may be asked in English. We test a set of real queries in both languages and record who is cited.

Pages that get quoted share traits: a direct answer in the first lines, named facts, short sections with clear headings, dates, and sources. We rewrite your key pages in that shape, in bokmål where your buyers read it, and keep English versions where you sell abroad.

Technical access

  • Crawler access: check that your robots file and any security layer do not block the AI crawlers you want to allow, and decide which you wish to block.
  • Rendering: content that appears only after scripts run may be missed, so important text should be in the HTML.
  • Structured data: Organization, Service, FAQ and Product data in JSON-LD, matching the visible page.
  • llms.txt: an optional file that some tools may read. It is not required for ranking in Google Search, so treat it as a small extra.
  • Speed and stability: slow or error-prone pages are crawled less.

Try our llms.txt generator and read our GEO checklist for the full list.

Privacy and honesty

Norway applies the GDPR through the Personal Data Act, so avoid publishing personal details about staff or customers just to feed AI tools. Only name people who agree to it. We also avoid tricks, such as hidden text aimed at models, because they break platform rules and erode trust.

We cannot promise that any tool will cite you. Results change as the models and their sources change, so we report the citations and trends we actually observe.

What we report each month

The monthly report is short. It shows the query set, which tools mention you, how they describe you, which pages they cite and what changed since last month. Where a description is wrong, we trace it to the source and correct it.

We also track classic Search Console clicks beside it, because most buyers still use both. If AI tools send visits, they usually show in your analytics as referrals from the tool's domain, which you can see only if your consent setup allows measurement.

How the work runs and what it costs

  1. BaselineTest queries in Norwegian and English across the main AI tools and record the answers.
  2. Fix the factsAlign company data across your site and directories.
  3. Restructure pagesAnswer-first content, structured data and clean HTML.
  4. Re-test and reportRepeat the query set monthly and compare.

Projects start at $1,500, and our rate is $30 an hour. Site size and the number of query topics move the price. Our AI search optimization service page gives the full scope. Norway is 4 hours 30 minutes behind India in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes behind in summer. For classic search work, see SEO in Norway. A fixed quote follows a short call.

Questions, answered

Will ChatGPT definitely cite us?
No one can promise that. We improve the facts and pages these tools rely on and report what we observe.
Is llms.txt required?
No. It is optional, and Google Search does not use it for ranking. We can add it as a small extra.
Do we need Norwegian and English pages?
It depends on your buyers. We test queries in both languages before deciding.
How is this different from SEO?
SEO aims at ranked links. AI search work aims at accurate, quotable answers. The foundations overlap.
Which tools do you test?
Typically Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Bing Copilot, with results recorded in a simple log.
Will AI tools show wrong facts about us?
They can. We find the source of the error, such as an old directory entry or an unclear page, and fix it there.
