In short

Education SEO builds program and course pages that answer comparison questions, an admissions timeline that matches the application cycle, event pages for open days, and an accessible site that works for students and parents. Liftup Technologies works remotely from Pune on schools, colleges, tutoring centers and online course providers. Projects start at $1,500 with a fixed quote after a short call.

A long decision with several readers

A parent choosing a school, a student choosing a degree and an adult choosing a night course search differently, but all of them compare. They ask about fees, class size, outcomes, timetable, location, scholarships and what happens after. Admissions pages that say little push them to a competitor or an aggregator.

There is also a calendar. Applications, open days and deadlines cluster at fixed times. If your key pages are not indexed before those windows, you lose the early searchers who build a shortlist.

International students add another layer. They search in English with phrases that include visa, fees in their own currency and country-specific entry requirements. A page for each major source country, written with real detail about recognition of qualifications, is more useful than a single global page, but only where you can supply the information.

What the site needs

PageVisitorWhat it must answer
Program or course pageProspective studentContent, duration, entry requirements, fees, assessment, next intake
Admissions guideStudent or parentSteps, deadlines, documents, how to ask a question
Fees and fundingEveryoneTuition, extra costs, scholarships, payment plans, refunds
Open day or event pageParents, studentsDate, place, booking, what to expect, one page reused each year
Outcomes and destinationsParents, employersWhat graduates do, stated factually with the year of the data
Campus or online learningRemote and mature studentsFacilities, timetable, support, technology needed

Each program deserves its own page rather than a PDF prospectus. The parent SEO services page describes how we link them.

Parents of younger children care about safeguarding, transport, meals and communication with teachers. For schools, a page on these topics often draws as many visits as the curriculum pages.

Accreditation, claims and data

State your accreditation and who awards it, with a link to the accrediting body or register. In the US, the Department of Education publishes information on accreditation and consumer protections for students; check how your claims, such as job placement, are supported. UK and Australian regulators set rules for how universities and training providers advertise. We never publish rankings, pass rates or outcomes without a dated source you can provide.

Student data requires care. In the US, FERPA governs education records, and COPPA applies to children's data online. In the UK and Ireland, GDPR gives children's data extra protection. Enquiry forms should collect only what you need and say how it is used. Check with your data protection lead before adding tracking tools to pages aimed at children.

Results and rankings tempt every institution to boast. Quote them with their year and source, avoid league table claims you cannot document, and never imply outcomes for individual students.

Accessibility is a requirement, not an extra

Public institutions in many countries must meet accessibility standards, and every provider serves students with disabilities. The W3C's WCAG guidelines are the usual reference. We test contrast, headings, keyboard use, captions and forms, and we fix PDF handouts that cannot be read by a screen reader. Accessible pages are also easier for search engines to understand.

For tutoring centers and course platforms, speed matters as much. Students open pages on phones in short gaps, so we check load time on mid-range devices through our technical SEO work.

How the project runs

  1. Admissions interviewWe learn the calendar, the top programs and what prospects ask most.
  2. Content and structure planProgram, fee, event and guide pages, mapped to searches.
  3. Write with academic staffProgram leads supply facts; we write and structure.
  4. Cycle reportingEnquiries and applications by page, reviewed before each admissions window.

Price guidance

Projects start at $1,500 and our rate is $30 an hour. A tutoring center or small school with six to eight pages starts near the base. A college with many programs, several campuses or a rebuild costs more. A fixed quote comes within one working day of a short call. See the cost of SEO page for how scope affects price.

Questions, answered

Can SEO compete with aggregator sites?
For broad searches, aggregators are strong. Your advantage is detail, accuracy and direct application paths, so we target program-specific and local searches.
Should we keep a prospectus PDF?
Keep it as a download, but put the same facts in web pages. PDFs rank poorly and are harder to use on phones.
How do we handle changing fees?
Date the page and update it before each cycle. Old figures remaining in search results cause complaints.
What about online course providers?
The same rules apply: clear outcomes, honest time commitments, instructor details and refund terms. Course structured data can help eligible pages.
Do student testimonials help?
They do, if real and permitted. Use first names and programs with written consent, and never edit them.
