In short

SEO for electricians means showing up when a homeowner, landlord or facilities manager searches for an electrician in your service area. Liftup Technologies fixes the site, builds one clear page per job type and area, tidies your Google Business Profile and reports from your own Search Console. Projects start at $1,500, quoted fixed after a short call.

How people search for an electrician

Electrical searches split into two groups. Urgent searches (a tripped board, a burning smell, no power) are short, local and made on a phone. Planned searches (a rewire, a charger for an electric car, a safety inspection before letting a flat) are longer and compare several firms. One page cannot serve both, so each needs its own.

What we build and fix

  • A job-type page for each service you want more of, such as rewires, lighting, EV chargers, smoke alarm installs and commercial maintenance.
  • Service-area pages for the towns you really cover, each with local detail such as housing age, common faults and street or neighborhood names.
  • A Google Business Profile set up as a service-area business, with the right primary category, services list and photos. See our local SEO service.
  • Click-to-call tracking that does not break your listing details, so the phone number on your site, profile and directories still match.
  • LocalBusiness and Service schema, fast mobile pages and a quote form that works with one thumb.
  • A review request routine that fits how jobs finish: a text link sent when the invoice is paid.

Licences, schemes and advertising rules

Customers look for proof you are allowed to do the work. Rules differ by country and by state, so check the details with your licensing body or trade association before publishing.

  • United States: contractor and electrician licensing is set at state or local level. Many places expect the licence number on ads and vehicles. The SBA licensing guide listed under sources is a starting point, but your state board decides.
  • United Kingdom: scheme membership, for example with a Competent Person scheme body such as NICEIC or NAPIT, is a strong trust signal. Only claim a badge you hold.
  • Ireland: registration with the national register of electrical contractors, for example RECI, is the badge customers recognize.
  • Australia: licence numbers are usually required in advertising. Confirm with your state regulator.

We place your licence or scheme number in the header, footer, schema and profile, and we never add a badge you cannot show.

Service areas without thin pages

It is tempting to copy one page forty times with a new town name. Google treats that as low-value, and customers can tell. We write an area page only where you have a real base of work, with a local job example, travel time and the sort of properties you see there. Smaller towns go into a single list on a parent page. This keeps the site honest and still gives each area a page that can rank.

For a wider view of service-area work see our local SEO checklist.

How the project runs

  1. Short call and accessWe agree your service area, your top three job types and your busy months. You add us to Search Console and your Business Profile.
  2. Audit and fix listWe crawl the site, check phone numbers and addresses across directories and list what to fix first.
  3. Pages and profileWe write or rewrite job and area pages and update the profile, one batch at a time, with your sign-off.
  4. Monthly reportYou see calls, form fills, profile views and rankings for the terms that matter, taken from your own accounts.

The team works from Pune, and calls are booked in your working hours, whether you are in Texas, Leeds, Perth or Cork.

What it costs

Projects start at $1,500 and hourly work is $30. What moves the price: the number of job types, how many areas need their own page, whether the current site must be rebuilt first, and whether you want ongoing monthly work or a one-off set-up. You get a fixed quote within one working day of a short call. For typical scope levels, read what SEO costs.

Questions, answered

How many service-area pages does an electrician need?
One for each town where you win real work and can describe something specific, usually between three and ten. Beyond that, a list on a parent page is cleaner than many near-identical pages.
Is my Google Business Profile more important than my website?
For urgent searches the map results often decide the call, so the profile matters a great deal. The website still feeds it: Google compares the two for consistency, and planned jobs such as rewires are won on the site.
Can you track calls without messing up my listings?
Yes. A tracking number can be shown on the site while the main number stays on your profile and directories, so listing details still match. We set this up with you before changing any numbers.
Do I need a blog?
Not as a first step. A few pages that answer real questions, such as what a consumer unit replacement involves, usually earn more than a calendar of generic posts.
How long before the phone rings more?
Profile fixes can show effect in weeks. New pages usually take three to six months to settle, depending on how competitive your area is. We report from Search Console so you can see impressions rise before calls do.
