In short
Liftup Technologies designs websites for hair and beauty salons. The site shows your services with prices, introduces each stylist, displays your work in a fast gallery and sends clients straight into your booking tool, such as Fresha, Square Appointments, Vagaro or Treatwell. Projects start at $1,500 with a fixed quote after a short call.
How clients choose a salon
People rarely choose a salon from a list of services. They look at photos of finished work, check the price, read a few reviews and see whether a slot is free this week. If any of these steps fails, they close the tab and try the next salon.
Many salons also lose clients through the booking step. A site that sends someone to a general home page of a booking app, not to the exact service, adds friction. We link each service button to the right service inside your booking tool.
The service menu is the product page
A salon has no cart. Its service menu is the catalogue. We structure it by category, such as cut and style, colour, treatments, nails and bridal, with duration, a starting price and a short note on who it suits. Hidden prices push people to compare elsewhere.
| Element | What to show | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Service name | Plain words clients type, such as balayage or gel manicure | Matches how people search |
| Price | From price plus what changes it, such as hair length | Cuts down on phone queries |
| Duration | Rough time in minutes | Helps clients plan their day |
| Stylist | Who offers it | Clients often book a person, not a service |
| Book button | Deep link to that service in your booking app | Removes a step |
| Patch test note | Where required, a short line on the test before colour | Sets expectations and supports safe practice |
Patch-test and consultation rules come from your insurer, supplier and local regulator. Check wording with them.
Stylist pages and the gallery
Clients follow people. A short page for each stylist, with a photo, specialties, years working, and a small gallery of their own work, lets a visitor pick the right person. It also helps stylists who rent a chair and bring their own clients.
The gallery is where speed can fail. High-resolution photos are heavy. We compress and size every image, load them as the visitor scrolls, and link the gallery to your Instagram feed if you post there regularly. Get written consent from clients before featuring their faces.
Keep a short note on each stylist page about who they suit best, such as curly hair, bridal updos or barbering, so a new client can pick without calling.

Get my free quoteGift cards, memberships and busy seasons
Salons have predictable peaks: weddings and proms in spring and summer, the weeks before Christmas, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. We add a seasonal banner and a gift card page that can be switched on and off. Gift cards and memberships usually run through your booking or payment tool, so we link to them instead of rebuilding them.
A short bridal or events page, with a consultation form, brings in the high-value bookings that a general booking page misses.
Local search also drives walk-in and new-client bookings. Your site, your map listing and your booking page should show the same address and hours, and our local SEO service covers the wider work if you want to rank for searches like hair salon near me.
How the project runs
- CallWe learn your services, your booking tool and whether clients book a person or a service.
- Photos and pricesYou supply your best photos, price list and stylist bios. We can advise on shots to retake.
- Design and buildMobile first, with the book button always in reach.
- ConnectBooking deep links, Instagram feed, map and Google Business Profile checks.
- Hand overA short video shows you how to change prices and add a stylist.
We work remotely from Pune with offices in Coventry and New York, and book calls around your quieter hours, often a weekday morning.
What it costs
Projects start at $1,500 and our rate is $30 an hour. A single-salon site with a service menu, team page, gallery and booking links is near the start of that range. Several branches, an online shop for products or a custom booking system raise it. We give a fixed quote within one working day. Read the website design service and our website cost guide for how we scope work.
