In short

Liftup Technologies redesigns websites for Danish businesses, working remotely from India. We audit what the current site earns, decide what to keep, rewrite and cut, redesign the layout and rebuild it on a platform your team can edit, with redirects that protect search traffic. Danish copy, accessibility and cookie consent are part of the plan. You get a fixed quote within one working day of a short call.

Start with what the old site earns

Most redesigns that lose traffic did so because nobody checked which pages brought it in. Before any design work, we export Search Console and analytics data, list the pages that draw visits and enquiries, and mark each one keep, improve, merge or retire. That list drives the new structure. If you are unsure whether to redesign or rebuild, our redesign checklist walks through the question.

Our website redesign service describes the full process.

Danish copy and clarity

Danish visitors want to know quickly what you do, for whom, and roughly what it costs. Vague claims read badly. We rewrite headings and key pages in natural Danish with plain sentences, concrete examples and visible next steps. If the old site was written in English and translated, the rewrite is where the biggest gain often sits. Your team reviews wording, since you know the jargon your buyers use.

  • A homepage that states the offer in one sentence and shows the main paths.
  • Service pages with scope, process and a price range or the factors that set the price.
  • Contact details, CVR number and a named person where it helps trust.
  • A short, honest About page.

Law and standards to carry over

A redesign is the moment to fix compliance. Under GDPR and the Danish cookie order, non-essential cookies and tags need prior consent, with a banner that makes refusing as easy as accepting. Datatilsynet is the authority. The European Accessibility Act has applied since 28 June 2025 to many consumer-facing services, including online shops, and WCAG 2.2 AA is the sensible target for any new design. Our WCAG 2.2 checklist is what we test against.

Whether the act applies to you, or whether you fall under the micro-enterprise exemption for services, depends on your size and offering, so confirm with your adviser. The design work benefits every user either way: clear contrast, keyboard access, readable forms.

Redirects, migration and launch

Redirects are the safety net. We map every old URL that has traffic or links to its closest new page, using permanent redirects, and test the map on a staging copy. We keep titles, headings and internal links aligned with what already ranks, submit the new sitemap, and watch Search Console daily for the first two weeks. Our website migration checklist is the document we work from. If you change domain, for example to a .dk address, the redirect plan and a change-of-address notice become even more important.

A drop in rankings for a few weeks after launch can happen on any redesign. We tell you what to expect and how we will respond.

How the project runs

  1. Audit and planTraffic, content and technical review. A fixed quote within one working day of the call.
  2. Structure and copyNew site map, Danish copy, page outlines you can approve.
  3. DesignMobile first layouts in Figma, with two review rounds.
  4. Build and testPlatform of your choice, speed and accessibility testing, redirect checks.
  5. Launch and watchGo live at a quiet hour, then monitor search and errors.

Review calls are held in the Danish morning and early afternoon, when Pune is also working.

Mistakes we help you avoid

Redesigns go wrong in familiar ways. The new design hides text that used to rank, a menu change buries important pages, URLs change without redirects, tracking is lost for weeks, or a staging site with a noindex tag goes live unchanged. We use a launch checklist that covers each of these, and we compare the old and new sites page by page before the switch.

  • Keep headings and the main text of pages that already rank.
  • Test forms, phone links and payment flows on real devices.
  • Check that robots rules and noindex tags are correct on launch day.
  • Confirm analytics and consent work before the first visitor arrives.

Pricing

Projects start at $1,500, with extra hours at $30. A small brochure site is near the start. More pages, a shop, several languages, custom components and many redirects increase scope. The website redesign cost guide shows ranges, and the Denmark web design page covers new builds.

Questions, answered

Will we lose our Google rankings?
There is always some risk. A tested redirect map, kept content and close monitoring reduce it, and we explain what to expect.
Can we keep our current platform?
Often yes. If the platform is the problem, we recommend a move and explain why.
Do you rewrite the text in Danish?
Yes, with review by your team. We do not run text through machine translation and publish it.
How long does a redesign take?
A small site usually takes several weeks. Larger sites take longer. We give dates in the fixed quote.
Can we stay live during the work?
Yes. We build on a separate staging site and switch over when everything is checked.
