In short
Liftup Technologies redesigns websites for businesses in the Netherlands, working remotely from India. We audit what works, keep high-performing pages, rebuild design and structure, map every old URL to a new one, and check accessibility, speed and cookie consent before a staged launch. After a short call you receive a fixed quote within one working day, and projects start at $1,500.
When a redesign is the right move
A site is ready for redesign when it looks dated, loads slowly, performs badly on phones, cannot be edited easily, or no longer matches the business. Sometimes the problem is smaller: weak page text or a confusing menu can be fixed without a full rebuild. We say so when a lighter fix will do.
The biggest risk is losing what works. Many redesigns drop organic traffic because URLs change, text is cut or pages are noindexed by accident. We plan to avoid these from the start. The website redesign checklist shows the items we cover.
Redesign briefs often start with taste, and we prefer to start with evidence: heatmaps, form drop-off, search queries and customer questions. A short round of interviews with two or three recent customers usually shows what the old site fails to say, and those answers shape the new structure.
What we keep, change and remove
| Step | Question | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Audit | Which pages bring traffic and leads today? | A list of pages that must be protected |
| Content review | Is the Dutch text clear, current and accurate? | Rewrite, merge or retire pages |
| Structure | Can a visitor find the main service in two clicks? | New menu and page map |
| URL mapping | Where does each old address go? | A redirect file tested before launch |
| Design | Does it fit your brand and work on phones? | Responsive templates and components |
| Technical | Speed, accessibility, structured data, consent | A launch checklist with measured targets |
Keeping the address of a page that already ranks is usually better than changing it. Where an address must change, a single permanent redirect carries most of its value.
We also decide what to retire. Old news posts, duplicate service pages and thin location pages can be merged or removed with a redirect. A smaller site with stronger pages is easier to maintain and often performs better than a large one full of repetition.
Dutch details to review during a redesign
- Company details: KvK number, btw number, address and contact in the footer, as Dutch visitors and the law expect.
- Language: Dutch and English versions with hreflang, a visible language switch and Dutch forms and error messages.
- Cookies: a consent banner that blocks non-essential scripts until accepted, in line with the Telecommunicatiewet and AVG guidance from the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
- Accessibility: the European Accessibility Act has applied since 28 June 2025 to many online services and shops. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, and your lawyer confirms whether you are in scope.
- Shops: iDEAL at checkout, btw-inclusive prices for consumers and a visible 14-day return policy.
A redesign is the cheapest moment to fix these, since templates are being rebuilt anyway.

- Staging buildThe new site is built on a password-protected copy and kept out of search engines.
- Redirect testEvery old URL is tested against the map, and errors are fixed before launch.
- Quality passSpeed, accessibility, forms, tracking and mobile checks on real devices.
- Go liveLaunch at a quiet hour, submit the new sitemap and watch Search Console daily.
- Follow-upFix issues for four weeks, then compare traffic and leads with the baseline.
Some dip in rankings can happen after a major change and is not always avoidable, so we report openly and fix what we find. For the technical side read technical SEO in the Netherlands, and for the wider page see website design in the Netherlands.
After launch your team receives a short training session and written notes for editing pages, adding blog posts and checking forms, so that day-to-day updates do not need us.
Working across time zones
The Netherlands is 3.5 hours behind India in summer and 4.5 in winter. We hold design reviews in your morning and send build updates at the end of our day, so you often see progress when you start work. One project lead stays with you from audit to follow-up.
Pricing
Projects start at $1,500, and our rate is $30 an hour. A small brochure site is at the start of the range. More pages, a shop, several languages or custom features raise the price. See the website redesign service and the website redesign cost guide. We quote a fixed price after a short call, and any change in scope is agreed in writing first.
