In short

Liftup Technologies builds AI automation for Swiss businesses, working remotely from India. We connect your email, CRM, accounting and document tools with n8n, Make, Zapier or custom code, add OpenAI or Anthropic (Claude) models for reading and drafting, and keep a person in charge of key decisions. A short call leads to a fixed quote within one working day.

Repeat work that is worth automating

Swiss firms are often small, multilingual and busy. Staff spend hours moving data from one place to another: an inbound email into a CRM, a supplier PDF into the accounting tool, a form into a project board. These steps follow rules, which makes them good candidates. The aim is to give people back time, not to remove them.

Tools and how we choose

Visual tools such as n8n, Make and Zapier are faster to build and easier for your team to read. n8n can also be run on infrastructure you control, which some Swiss firms prefer for privacy. We use custom code when volume or logic outgrows a visual flow. Compare the options in n8n vs Make and n8n vs Zapier, and see AI automation vs RPA if you currently use screen-recording bots.

Every workflow is documented with a diagram, a list of connected accounts and a run log. If an error occurs, an alert goes to a named person.

Data handling under Swiss law

Automations touch personal data in emails, invoices and CRM records. The revised Federal Act on Data Protection, in force since 1 September 2023 and supervised by the FDPIC, applies. Not legal advice; your lawyer should confirm the details for your case.

  • List every system that receives data, including the AI provider, and the country it is processed in.
  • Send the model only the fields it needs. Remove names and account numbers when the task allows.
  • Sending personal data to a provider or team abroad is a disclosure abroad, so we agree safeguards in writing before access.
  • Store credentials in the tool's vault, never in the workflow text, and use accounts in your name.
  • Keep logs for as long as your policy says, then delete them.

The AI vendor evaluation checklist helps you compare providers on these points.

Delivery and time zones

We work remotely from India. Switzerland is 3.5 to 4.5 hours behind, so we use the Swiss morning for questions and review. By your next morning, new workflow versions are ready to test, which suits iterative work. You get a short weekly demo, one lead and a test plan that uses your own sample emails and documents.

A sensible first pilot

Start with one workflow and run it beside the manual process before it replaces anything. This keeps risk low and gives you real numbers instead of estimates.

  1. Week 1: map the processWe follow ten to twenty real examples, note the exceptions and decide what the automation will never decide alone.
  2. Week 2: build the first versionConnections, extraction, routing and drafting, with test data from your own mailbox or folder.
  3. Week 3: shadow runThe workflow runs in parallel while staff do the work as usual. We compare results and fix gaps.
  4. Week 4: go live with a review ruleThe workflow takes over the routine cases and sends the unclear ones to a person.

One caution on accounting flows: the workflow can read amounts and VAT lines from a document, but it does not decide how your company should treat them. That stays with your accountant, and we build the review step around it.

Pricing

Projects start at $1,500 and the rate is $30 an hour. A single workflow with two or three systems is a small project. Many workflows, strict approval steps or old systems with no API cost more. Model usage and tool subscriptions are paid to the providers on your accounts. See the AI automation cost guide and the base AI automation service page. Questions, answered

Which process should we automate first?
Pick one with high volume, clear rules and an easy way to check the result, such as inbound enquiry routing. We help you choose on the scoping call.
Can it read Swiss QR-bills?
Yes, in many cases. The QR-bill carries structured payment data, and we combine it with document reading. Test on your real invoices first.
What if the AI makes a mistake?
Important steps have approval gates, confidence thresholds and logs. Mistakes are caught before they reach customers or the ledger.
Will it work with our accounting software?
If the software has an API or an export, usually yes. We check this before quoting.
Do we own the workflows?
Yes. Workflows, prompts and accounts are yours, with documentation at handover.
