In short

Liftup Technologies designs and builds websites, online stores, web apps and mobile apps for Swiss businesses, working remotely from India. Builds use Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Next.js and React Native or Flutter, with German, French and Italian versions, CHF pricing and TWINT checkout where the shop needs them. You get one lead, weekly demos and a fixed quote within one working day of a short call.

What Swiss buyers expect from a website

Swiss customers tend to judge a business by its site before they call. Clean layout, correct language, clear prices and a visible company identity matter more than novelty. A page that reads like a German or French import, with the wrong spelling or euro prices, loses trust quickly.

That sets the brief for most Swiss builds: fast pages, real translations, a legal footer that is complete, and checkout options people already use, such as TWINT, cards and pay-by-invoice.

Mobile matters for every Swiss audience. Test every template on a mid-range phone, not only a new flagship, and check that forms, maps and click-to-call work with one thumb. Visitors also read service pages carefully, so clear headings and short paragraphs help more than animation.

Swiss requirements we build in

  • Privacy. The revised Federal Act on Data Protection has applied since 1 September 2023, and the FDPIC supervises it. Forms, analytics and chat widgets are listed in your privacy notice, and we avoid collecting data you do not need.
  • Company identity. Many Swiss sites show legal name, address, contact details and the UID company number in the footer. Online shops in particular should show who runs them. Confirm exact wording with your lawyer.
  • Prices. Prices shown to consumers are expected to be the full price, so VAT, at a standard rate of 8.1%, is included in the figure shown.
  • Accessibility. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA. If you also sell to EU consumers, the European Accessibility Act may apply to you, so ask your adviser.
  • Hosting. Some buyers like Swiss hosting. We work with the host you choose, including Swiss providers.

Languages and local details

A multilingual site is a structure decision before it is a translation job. We set up one folder or domain per language, matching hreflang tags and a language switcher that remembers the visitor's choice. Copy is yours or your translator's. We recommend a native Swiss reviewer for each language, because Swiss German drops the ß and French uses nonante and septante where France says quatre-vingt-dix and soixante-dix.

Formats matter too. Dates, phone numbers, addresses with a four-digit postcode, and amounts such as CHF 1'250.00 should look Swiss. Our website brief template helps you collect these before the build starts.

Plan time for copy. German text is often longer than English, French needs careful phrasing and Italian needs its own voice. Budget review by a native speaker for every language you publish.

How a project runs from India

We work remotely from our head office in Pune. Switzerland is 3.5 to 4.5 hours behind India, so a call at 09:00 or 10:00 in Zurich lands in the Indian afternoon. A typical build runs in four steps: scope and wireframes, design, build, then launch and handover. You see a working demo each week and approve each step before the next begins. You own the code, the domain and every account from day one.

Pricing

Projects start at $1,500 and the hourly rate is $30. A fixed quote arrives within one working day of a short call. Language count, number of templates, integrations and custom features drive the price more than page count. The website cost guide and our website cost calculator show the ranges.

Retainers for updates, security patches and small changes are quoted separately after launch. Our website maintenance checklist shows what a monthly routine covers, so you can decide whether to keep us on or take it in-house.

Questions, answered

Do you build in German, French and Italian?
We build the structure and the interface for all three. Copy comes from you or your translator, and we recommend a native Swiss reviewer for each language.
Can the site accept TWINT?
Yes, through a payment provider that supports it. We connect the provider you hold an account with and test the checkout on mobile before launch.
Do I need an agency in Switzerland?
Not for delivery. Work is remote, with calls booked in your working hours. You may still want a Swiss lawyer to review legal pages.
Who owns the website after launch?
You do. Code, content, domain and hosting accounts are in your name, and we hand over documentation at launch.
How long does a build take?
Small company sites often take a few weeks. Stores, apps and multilingual builds take longer. The fixed quote includes a timeline.
