In short

Liftup Technologies designs websites for businesses in Poland, working remotely from India with review calls booked in Warsaw hours. The scope covers page structure, visual design, Polish-ready typography, cookie consent, accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA and the build itself on WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Next.js. A short call leads to a fixed quote within one working day.

Who this is for

Clinics, law and accounting firms, manufacturers, schools, local shops and growing online brands in Poland all need the same thing: a site that explains the offer fast and makes the next step obvious. Many have an older site that looks dated on phones, or a template that does not suit Polish copy.

Polish software houses and design studios can be a good fit, particularly if you want to meet in person. We suit teams that are comfortable working remotely and want a published price and a written scope.

If you are choosing between a template and a custom design, read our comparison of custom website vs template. Templates are quicker and cheaper at the start. Custom design pays off when your offer needs a specific story or flow.

Consent, accessibility and legal pages

RODO is the Polish name for GDPR, and UODO is the supervisory authority. A site that uses analytics, a contact form or embedded maps needs a privacy notice and, for non-essential cookies, a consent banner that works before tags fire. We set the banner up and test that choices are respected. Your lawyer writes the legal text; we place it.

The European Accessibility Act applies from 28 June 2025 to many ecommerce and consumer service sites. We design to WCAG 2.2 AA from the first wireframe: contrast, focus states, readable type and labelled forms. Our WCAG 2.2 checklist shows the checks.

Content, images and speed

Most weak business sites fail on content, not on looks. Visitors want to know what you do, for whom, what it costs or how to start, and why they should trust you. We write page briefs that answer those questions in that order, and we ask you for real photos of your team, premises and work. Stock images of smiling strangers lower trust, especially for clinics, law firms and local services.

Speed matters because a large share of Polish visitors browse on phones. We compress images, serve modern formats, load fonts carefully and keep third-party scripts to a minimum. Fonts with full Polish coverage can be heavy, so we subset them. You can check any page yourself with our Core Web Vitals tool.

Structured data is added where it helps: organization details, breadcrumbs, FAQ and, for shops, product markup. We keep it accurate, because markup that does not match the page can be ignored.

Working remotely with a Polish team

Poland is on CET or CEST. Pune is 4.5 hours ahead of Warsaw in winter and 3.5 hours ahead in summer. We schedule design reviews between 09:00 and 12:00 Warsaw time, which is early afternoon in Pune. You get one lead contact, a weekly demo link and feedback tracked in a shared document, so decisions do not depend on live meetings.

Price

Projects start at $1,500, and our rate is $30 an hour. The price moves with the number of unique page layouts, languages, custom functions and how much copy and imagery you supply. A 50-hour project at our rate comes to $1,500. See the website cost guide or try the website cost calculator. Our general approach is described on the website design service page.

Questions, answered

How much does a website cost in Poland?
With us, projects start at $1,500 and the rate is $30 an hour, billed in US dollars. Local studios quote in złoty. Ask each team for the same scope so quotes can be compared.
Can the site be bilingual?
Yes. Polish and English versions need separate pages, a language switcher and hreflang tags so Google shows the right one. We plan this at the start.
Do I need a .pl domain?
Not required, but many Polish businesses prefer one. The .pl registry is run by NASK through dns.pl. Check registrar terms before buying.
Who writes the Polish copy?
You or your copywriter supply it, or we draft it with AI tools and a native reader on your side approves it. We do not publish unreviewed Polish text.
Will I own the site?
Yes. Domain, hosting, design files and code sit in your accounts.
