In short

Liftup Technologies develops custom web applications for businesses in Poland, working remotely from India with calls booked in Warsaw hours. We build with Next.js and React, connect them to your existing systems, set up Polish and English interfaces, and design for RODO from the start. A short call leads to a fixed quote within one working day.

When a spreadsheet stops being enough

Many Polish firms run on shared spreadsheets, email threads and a few off-the-shelf tools. That works until orders, staff or clients multiply. Then people overwrite each other, data goes stale and nobody trusts the numbers. A web app replaces the shared file with one system that has logins, roles, history and reports.

Typical projects: a dealer portal where B2B customers place repeat orders, a booking and scheduling tool, a client dashboard for an agency or accountant, a quoting tool for a manufacturer, or an internal system that ties together sales, production and delivery.

Polish data details we build in

Field or rulePolish detailWhat we do
Company tax number (NIP)Ten digits with a check digitValidate format and checksum, optionally verify against an official lookup
Postal codeNN-NNN patternMask input and validate
Phone numbersNine digits, with +48 for international formNormalize and store in one format
Currency and VATZłoty, 23% standard rate, reduced rates for some goodsStore net, VAT rate and gross separately; round the way your accountant expects
Personal ID (PESEL)A sensitive national numberAvoid collecting it unless a law requires it, and then protect it
LanguagePolish interface with optional EnglishTranslation files with Polish plural forms

Invoices are a frequent request. Poland's national e-invoicing system, KSeF, is being phased in for B2B invoices, so any app that issues invoices should be checked against current rules with your accountant. Where possible we connect to a certified invoicing service instead of building invoicing from scratch.

Architecture and hosting

We build front ends in Next.js and React, with back ends in Node.js and a relational database for most business apps. Authentication uses established libraries or your identity provider, not homemade login code. We host on managed cloud platforms and can choose EU regions when your contracts or customers ask for data to stay in Europe. For the build approach, see our web app development service, and for a first version to test with users, MVP development.

  • Role-based access: staff, managers and customers see only what they should.
  • Audit trail: who changed what and when, which helps both operations and RODO accountability.
  • Exports and reports in CSV and PDF for your accountant.
  • Integrations: payment gateways, courier APIs, email, accounting tools and marketplaces with public APIs.

Testing is built into each sprint, not saved for the end. We write automated tests for the rules that cost money when they fail, such as price and VAT calculations, permission checks and data imports. Before launch your own staff run through real tasks on a test copy. Their feedback usually finds the small things that save people time every day, like default values, search and keyboard shortcuts.

RODO and security

RODO is the Polish name for GDPR, and UODO enforces it. A web app that stores personal data needs a lawful basis, retention rules, a way to export or delete a person's data on request, and a breach process. We build delete and export functions into the app and keep access logs. Security basics are standard: encrypted connections, hashed passwords, least-privilege access, backups and dependency updates. Your lawyer reviews the legal documents; we make the app able to follow them.

How a project runs remotely

  1. Discovery callUsers, roles, current process and the one outcome the first version must deliver.
  2. Fixed quoteScope, milestones and price in writing within one working day.
  3. Clickable prototypeScreens your staff can try before the build starts.
  4. Build in sprintsTwo-week cycles with a demo at the end of each.
  5. Pilot and launchA small group uses it on real data, then full rollout.

Warsaw is 4.5 hours behind Pune in winter and 3.5 hours behind in summer. Sprint demos are booked in Warsaw mornings. Polish software houses are a real alternative if you want your team on site. We offer remote delivery with a fixed quote, so compare scope and ownership terms.

After launch we can stay on for support and small improvements, billed at the same hourly rate, or hand the app to your own developers with documentation. The handover includes setup steps, a list of environment variables, deployment instructions and a short guide to the data model, so your team is never locked in.

Price

Projects start at $1,500, and our rate is $30 an hour. A small internal tool can sit near the start. Number of user roles, integrations, reports and custom workflows move the price. See the web app cost guide. Hosting and third-party services are billed by the providers. You own the code and the accounts.

Questions, answered

Can the app work in Polish and English?
Yes. We build translation support from the start, including Polish plural forms, so adding a language later is simple.
Where will the data be stored?
In a region you choose, including EU regions where the hosting platform offers them. We state the choice in the quote.
Can it connect to my invoicing or ERP tool?
If the tool has a public API, usually yes. We confirm what is possible before quoting.
Who owns the code?
You do. The repository and cloud accounts are created in your name.
Can you start with a small version?
Yes. We recommend a first release that covers one workflow well, then expansion based on how people use it.
