In short

Liftup Technologies runs social media marketing for Danish brands, working remotely from India. We agree the platforms and goals, plan a monthly Danish content calendar, produce the posts and graphics, publish and report on results. Sponsored posts are labeled as Danish rules expect, and pixels follow consent rules. Danish copy is checked by a native reviewer on your side. You get a fixed quote within one working day of a short call.

Which platforms fit a Danish audience

Pick platforms by where your buyers actually are, not by trend. A consumer brand and a B2B manufacturer need different channels. We look at your customer list, your competitors' accounts and your own analytics before suggesting a mix.

PlatformWhere it tends to fit in DenmarkContent that works
InstagramConsumer brands, food, design, fashion, local servicesShort video, carousels, behind-the-scenes, customer photos
FacebookLocal businesses, community groups, events, an older audienceEvent posts, offers, group engagement, customer service replies
LinkedInB2B, recruitment, professional services, industrial firmsExpert posts, project stories, hiring content from named people
TikTokBrands with a younger customer and a video habitQuick, honest, un-polished clips
SnapchatYounger audiences and specific campaignsCase by case; not a default

This table is a starting hypothesis. We confirm it with data before committing your budget.

Danish tone and the content calendar

Danish social copy is informal, short and a little dry. Sales language that works elsewhere can feel loud. Humor lands when it is understated. We write in Danish, never translate English posts, and use a short glossary of your brand terms so every post sounds the same.

The calendar follows Danish life: a sale-heavy November, julekalender and gift content before Christmas, a quiet July when many people take their main holiday, Fastelavn in February or March, Sankt Hans on 23 June. For B2B accounts, the julefrokost season fills calendars in November and December, so we move key messages earlier.

Advertising labels, contests and influencers

Danish marketing law expects sponsored content to be recognizable as advertising. In practice that means a clear label in Danish, such as annonce or reklame, placed where the viewer sees it before engaging, and not buried among hashtags. The Consumer Ombudsman publishes guidance on social media and influencers; we follow the current version and ask you to confirm it with your lawyer.

  • Brand and creator partnerships are labeled in the post and in the platform's own paid-partnership tool.
  • Testimonials and reviews that we repost must be real and attributable.
  • Giveaways need clear rules and a named organizer; we draft them for your lawyer to approve.
  • Content aimed at children needs extra care and usually a different approach to data.

Pixels, audiences and GDPR

If you run paid campaigns, tracking pixels and custom audiences process personal data. Under GDPR, enforced in Denmark by Datatilsynet, and the Danish cookie order, marketing pixels on your website need prior consent. Uploading customer lists to build audiences needs a legal basis and a notice in your privacy policy. We set pixels behind your consent tool, document data flows and prefer server-side or aggregated measurement where it fits.

Paid campaigns can be scoped as a separate line in your quote. For wider planning, see our digital marketing service.

How we work remotely

  1. Audit and goalsReview of current accounts, audience and competitors; agree three goals that can be measured.
  2. Monthly calendarDanish post ideas and drafts for approval a week before publication.
  3. ProductionGraphics, short video edits and captions made in India against your brand guide.
  4. Publishing and repliesPosts scheduled for Danish time. Replies are drafted for approval or handled within rules you set.
  5. ReportA short monthly report: reach, engagement, enquiries, and what we change next month.

Because Denmark is 3.5 to 4.5 hours behind India, evening posts for Danish audiences go out at night in Pune, so we schedule them in advance and check performance the next morning. Live reactions on the same day depend on your replies policy.

Measuring what matters

Likes are easy to count and hard to bank. We agree a short list of measures before the first post: profile visits, saves and shares, link clicks, enquiries or orders that can be traced to social, and for B2B accounts the number of relevant people who follow or message the brand. Where consent limits tracking, we use platform reports, discount codes and a short question on the enquiry form such as how did you hear about us.

  • Monthly report with the three best and three weakest posts and what we learned from each.
  • Audience growth split into relevant and irrelevant followers where the platform allows.
  • Notes on comments and questions, which are often the best source for new content ideas.
  • A recommendation on whether to keep, change or stop each platform.

Pricing

Projects start at $1,500, and extra work is billed at $30 an hour. Cost depends on the number of platforms, posts per week, video share, community management and whether you need ads. Landing pages for campaigns are covered by our landing page checklist. More on the social media marketing service page.

Questions, answered

Do you write in Danish?
We draft in Danish and have it reviewed by a native speaker on your side before publishing, so tone and idioms fit your brand.
Can you reply to comments in real time?
We can draft or send replies within hours you set. For urgent matters, your team should keep a contact route.
Do sponsored posts need a label?
Danish rules expect sponsored content to be clearly identifiable. We use Danish labels and platform tools, and recommend a quick check with your lawyer.
Which platform should we start with?
The one where your customers already are. We decide after looking at your audience data.
Who owns the accounts?
You do. We work through limited roles and never take ownership of your pages.
