Webflow development

Webflow agency for marketing sites your team can edit

Webflow lets designers ship a precise site without a developer in every edit. It also has real limits, and we tell you where they are before you commit.

In short

Webflow development means designing and building a website in Webflow, including layouts, CMS collections, interactions, forms, SEO settings and hosting setup. It suits marketing sites and content-led businesses that want design control and easy editing. Liftup builds the site, trains your editors, and says plainly when a project needs something Webflow cannot provide.

What Webflow is good at

Webflow is a visual site builder that produces clean HTML and CSS and includes hosting. Designers can control spacing, type and motion closely, and editors can change content on the live page without touching layout. For a marketing site with a blog, case studies and a handful of forms, that combination is hard to beat for speed of delivery.

Because hosting and security updates are handled by the platform, there are no plugins to patch. That removes a whole category of maintenance that WordPress sites carry.

Where Webflow is the wrong tool

We would rather tell you now than after the build. This table sets out where it fits and where we would suggest something else.

Who this is for

  • Startups and SaaS companies that need a polished marketing site quickly and will change it often.
  • Service firms whose current site looks dated and is hard to update.
  • Design-led brands that want pixel-level control without custom code.
  • Teams moving off an old builder. See our guidance on WordPress to Webflow migration.

The platform's own site plan and CMS plan are billed by Webflow, not by us, and prices change. We list the plan you need in the proposal so you can check it against Webflow's current pricing.

How we build

  1. Structure and content modelSitemap, page templates and CMS collections defined together. We decide which content repeats, such as posts, team members and case studies, and design fields for each.
  2. DesignHome, one inner page and one CMS template, then the rest from a shared set of components.
  3. Build with a class systemA consistent naming approach so styles stay organized and a future designer can read the project.
  4. InteractionsMotion that supports the message and respects visitors who prefer reduced movement.
  5. SEO setupTitles, descriptions, headings, canonical tags, redirects, sitemap and structured data. More detail in our Webflow SEO notes.
  6. Forms and integrationsForms routed to your email or CRM, analytics, and tag setup, with consent handling for visitors in the EU, UK and California.
  7. Editor training and launchA recorded walkthrough, editor roles set, and a launch check on real devices.

We have no published Webflow case study, and we will not borrow another project to fill the gap. The nearest relevant work is the site for VK Magic, an online magic academy where the site had to feel like a theatrical experience while selling single tricks, programs and props. That design challenge, a distinct feel on top of a clear buying path, is what Webflow suits well.

For a quick view of the investment involved, see the Webflow website cost guide.

Timeline, what you get and reporting

A marketing site of ten to twenty pages normally takes four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch. A larger site, a site with several languages or a migration with many redirects takes longer. You see the project through a staging link, with a short written update each week.

  • A Webflow project transferred to your account, with you as the owner.
  • CMS collections, templates and editor roles set up.
  • SEO settings, redirects and structured data.
  • A style guide describing components and classes.
  • An editor training recording and a one-page how-to.

We give a fixed quote after a short call, based on pages and CMS complexity. Ask for a proposal and send a link to your current site.

Questions, answered

Is Webflow good for SEO?
Yes for the basics. It outputs clean code, lets you set metadata, redirects and a sitemap, and loads fast on its hosting. SEO results still depend on content, structure and links.
Can I edit the site myself after launch?
Yes. Editors can change text, images and CMS items directly on the page. We set roles so they cannot break the layout.
Who pays for Webflow hosting?
You do, directly to Webflow, on your own account. We state the plan you need in the proposal. Plans and prices change, so check Webflow's current page before you sign.
Can Webflow handle an online store?
It has ecommerce features suited to small catalogs. For larger stores with complex needs, Shopify is usually the better fit.
Can you migrate our WordPress content?
Yes. We export posts and pages, import them into CMS collections, and map redirects so existing rankings carry over.
What if we outgrow Webflow?
You can export the HTML and CSS, though CMS content and interactions need rebuilding elsewhere. If you expect to outgrow it within a year, we may suggest another route from the start.
