SaaS SEO

SaaS SEO agency: organic growth measured in trials

Software buyers search by problem, by competitor and by integration. We build the pages for each, make sure your app shell can be crawled and track sign-ups, not sessions.

In short

SaaS SEO is search optimization for software companies, focused on problem, comparison, alternative and integration searches that lead to trials. Liftup audits crawlability and rendering of your marketing site, maps keywords to the buyer journey, builds templated and hand-written pages, and reports sign-ups and activations from search using your Search Console and product analytics.

How SaaS search differs from other SEO

Software is bought by comparing. People search for the problem, then for tools that solve it, then for your name next to a competitor's, and finally for pricing and reviews. A SaaS site can serve each step with a different page type, many of which can be built from templates once the first is right.

Technically, SaaS sites are often built as JavaScript apps, with marketing pages sharing a codebase with the product. That brings its own risks: pages that render only in the browser, app routes that leak into the index and blog subdomains that split authority. If your buyers are other companies with sales-led deals, our B2B SEO page covers that model.

We start from the pages that sit close to a sign-up, and we add top-of-funnel education only when it supports them.

A worked mapping

Take an invented invoicing tool for freelancers. Its searches fall into clusters. Problem searches such as how to send an invoice map to guides that lead to a template. Competitor searches map to alternatives and comparison pages. Integration searches such as invoicing with a named accounting app map to one page per integration, each showing the actual setup steps and a screenshot. Each cluster ends in a different call to action: template download, free trial or integration setup.

The mapping is the deliverable. Without it, a team publishes forty blog posts and no page that sells. This is an illustration, not a client project.

How we work

  1. Crawl and rendering auditWe compare what a crawler sees with what a browser shows, check app routes, canonicals, sitemaps and page speed on the marketing site.
  2. Journey and keyword mapSearches grouped by stage and by the page type above, with a priority score based on closeness to sign-up.
  3. Fix the commercial pagesHome, pricing, use case and integration pages first: clear headlines, proof, screenshots, a sign-up route with few steps.
  4. Build the comparison setAlternatives and comparison pages, written from public information and checked for accuracy.
  5. Programmatic pages with careTemplates for integrations or use cases only when each page has unique data. Thin pages at scale get filtered or ignored.
  6. Instrument the funnelEvents from landing page to sign-up to activation, so organic traffic is judged on product use.

What you get

  • A technical report on rendering, indexing and site architecture
  • The keyword-to-page map with priorities
  • New and rewritten commercial pages, with copy and briefs for designers
  • Page templates your team can reuse for integrations and comparisons
  • A dashboard or monthly report: Search Console clicks, trials and activations from organic

A fixed quote follows a short call. Start at the contact page.

Timeline and reporting

Planning estimates: audit and map in the first three weeks, commercial pages over weeks four to ten, templated sets after that. SaaS terms are competitive, and a new domain typically needs several months before comparison pages reach page one for contested searches. We say so up front.

Reports come from your Google Search Console, joined to sign-ups in your analytics tool. We separate branded from non-branded searches, since a rise in people typing your name is a different story from new discovery.

For ADDA, a community management app, we worked on app growth, SEO and marketing. The case study reports 40 percent more app downloads and 35 percent more active users, results of the combined program and not of search alone. For Interakt, a digital communications company, we built custom landing pages that went live in two weeks, the kind of campaign page a SaaS team often needs fast.

Questions, answered

Should our blog live on a subdomain?
Usually no. A subfolder on the main domain shares authority with your product pages. A subdomain can make sense if a different team or system runs it, but it needs a reason.
Are alternatives pages risky?
They are fine if accurate and fair. Avoid claims you cannot support, use public information, and keep the competitor's trademarks within normal descriptive use.
Will programmatic SEO work for us?
Only if each page contains something unique, such as real integration steps or data. Pages that swap one keyword in a template tend to be filtered out.
How do you attribute sign-ups to SEO?
By landing page and source in your analytics, with the caveat that people often discover you in search, leave and come back directly. We report both first-touch and last-touch where we can.
Do you handle docs and help centers?
Yes. Documentation attracts high-intent searches and should be crawlable, fast and linked from the product pages.
