In short

Liftup Technologies builds AI agents for Singapore businesses, working remotely from India with calls booked in Singapore working hours. An agent reads a request, decides which of your tools to use, acts within set limits and asks a person when unsure. We scope one narrow job first, test it on real cases, add logging and approval steps, and hand over the accounts. You receive a fixed quote after a short call.

What an agent is, and what it is not

A chatbot answers questions. An agent also does things: it looks up an order, drafts a reply, updates a record, books a slot, or prepares a document for approval. The difference is access to tools and the ability to take several steps toward a goal. That also raises the risk, since an agent that can act can act wrongly.

So we build agents the cautious way. One job, a short list of tools, clear limits on what each tool can do, and a human approving anything that is costly or hard to undo. Our comparison of an AI agent and a chatbot explains when each one fits.

JobWhat the agent doesWhere a person stays involved
Customer support triageReads the message, finds the order, drafts a replyApproves refunds and unusual cases
Sales operationsEnriches a lead, writes a first note, updates the CRMReviews outreach before it is sent
Finance back officeMatches invoices to orders, flags gapsApproves payments
Internal knowledge deskAnswers staff questions from policies and filesOwns the source documents
ReportingPulls data from several tools into a weekly summaryChecks figures before circulation

How we build one

  1. Pick one jobA task with clear inputs, a clear result and a measurable cost today.
  2. Map the toolsWhich systems the agent reads from and writes to, with the least access needed.
  3. Write the rulesWhat it may do alone, what needs approval, and when it must stop and hand over.
  4. Build and testRun it on real past cases and score the results against what your staff did.
  5. Pilot with loggingEvery action is recorded, so you can see what it did and why.
  6. Hand overCode, prompts, accounts and a runbook in your name.

We use whichever model fits the job, from OpenAI or Anthropic and others, and connect to your tools through APIs or workflow platforms. The LLM evaluation checklist shows how we test before launch.

PDPA, governance and security

If an agent touches customer data, the PDPA applies. The PDPC publishes guidance on the Act, including on using personal data in AI systems, and IMDA publishes the Model AI Governance Framework. We design with both in mind: only the data the task needs, a stated purpose, a way for a person to review or correct, and clear records of what the agent did. Where data goes to a model provider, we check where it is processed and what the provider's terms say, and we tell you the result before you decide.

Security matters as much as privacy. An agent that can read email or a CRM can be tricked by hostile text in a message, so we limit its permissions, separate read and write access, and test for prompt injection. Our AI agent security checklist lists what we check.

This is not legal advice. Your lawyer or data protection officer should confirm what applies to your use.

Where agents pay off in Singapore

Singapore businesses often run lean teams across several markets, which makes repeat admin expensive. Typical wins are support triage across time zones, quote preparation for trading and logistics firms, document checking in professional services, and reporting that otherwise takes a day each week. We start with the job where the cost is already visible, then widen once the first agent has proved itself. Agents that are only a novelty rarely survive the first budget review.

Support for digital adoption is available from government programmes in Singapore for some businesses. Eligibility and terms change, so check the current rules with the relevant agency and your advisor. We can supply the scope and quote documents that applications usually need.

Working from India

Singapore is 2.5 hours ahead of India, so our workday overlaps with yours almost fully. We hold weekly reviews with your process owner, and one lead is accountable for the build. If staff need training in how to supervise the agent, we run a short session and leave a written guide.

Pricing

Projects start at $1,500 and our rate is $30 an hour. Number of tools, the risk of the actions, volume and testing effort move the price. Model usage and platform fees are paid to the providers. See the AI agent cost guide and our AI agent development service page.

Questions, answered

What is a good first agent to build?
A task done often, with clear inputs and a result a person can check quickly. Support triage and invoice matching are common starting points.
Can an agent act without approval?
For low-risk, reversible steps, yes. For payments, deletions or anything customer-facing and sensitive, we add an approval step.
Where does our data go?
It depends on the model and hosting chosen. We document where data is processed and agree the set-up with you before any customer data is used.
How do you test an agent?
On real past cases, scored against what your staff decided, then in a pilot with logging before wider rollout.
Who owns the agent after the project?
You do. Code, prompts and accounts are in your name, with a runbook for your team.
