SaaS SEO for the USA

SaaS SEO for US software companies

US software buyers search for problems, then categories, then comparisons, and they check review sites and a security page before booking a demo. We build pages for each of those moments.

In short

Liftup Technologies provides SaaS SEO for software companies selling in the US, working remotely from India with an office in New York. We map the buyer's searches from problem to comparison, build pages for alternatives, integrations and security questions, and fix the technical base. Results are reported from your Search Console and CRM. A fixed quote follows a short call.

The search path of a US software buyer

A US buyer rarely types the product category on day one. They start with a pain, such as slow invoicing or messy onboarding, learn what a tool category is, compare names, and only then look at pricing and security. A site that only targets the category keyword misses most of that path.

StageTypical searchPage we buildConversion step
ProblemHow to cut invoice errorsA practical guide with a template, written by someone who knows the jobNewsletter or template download
CategoryBest expense software for small teamsA category page that explains selection criteria honestlyProduct tour
ComparisonYour product vs a named rivalA fair side-by-side with dated factsDemo request
AlternativesAlternatives to a named rivalA page that says who each option suits, including when you are not the right pickTrial or demo

The SaaS SEO service page lists the full scope, and the SaaS SEO checklist is the document we start from.

Comparison pages, G2 and Capterra

In the US, review sites such as G2 and Capterra often show up in results for 'best' and 'alternatives' queries, so they compete with your own pages and also shape what buyers believe. We treat them as part of the plan: we check how your listings read, which categories you appear in, and whether your site and your listings say the same thing.

Comparison pages need care. Facts about a competitor must be accurate and dated, because false statements about a rival can invite complaints and legal letters. Reviews must be genuine: the FTC's rule on consumer reviews covers fake and purchased reviews, and its endorsement guidance covers incentives. We ask your counsel to approve comparison claims before publishing.

Trust pages that US procurement teams look for

Mid-sized and larger US buyers send security questionnaires before they sign. A public trust page does not replace that process, but it answers many early questions and gets cited by AI tools. We write it with your engineering team, using only what is true today.

  • Security overview: hosting region, encryption, access control, backups and a contact for reports.
  • Compliance status: state clearly which audits, such as SOC 2, are complete, in progress or not planned. Do not imply a certification you do not hold.
  • Privacy and data processing terms. California's CCPA covers business contact data as well as consumer data, so B2B software firms may have obligations.
  • Subprocessor list and a data processing agreement download.
  • Status page and uptime history, if you publish one.

A word on sales tax: some states tax software subscriptions and others do not. Pricing pages should state whether prices exclude tax, and your accountant should decide how you charge it.

Timing content to the US buying calendar

Many US companies plan next year's software spend in the autumn, and many close deals before quarter-end, so evaluation content matters before those dates. We do not use invented seasonal numbers. We check your own Search Console and CRM history for when demand rises, and publish comparison, pricing and integration pages ahead of those windows. Bing also matters in this audience, since corporate Windows computers often default to Edge and Bing, so we set up Bing Webmaster Tools and IndexNow next to Google Search Console.

How the work runs, and what it costs

Calls happen in your morning. A 10:00 a.m. Pacific call is 23:30 in India in winter, so most SaaS teams on the West Coast prefer 8:00 a.m. Pacific, which is 21:30. East Coast teams meet at 9:00 a.m., which is 19:30. Briefs and drafts are shared in writing, and your product team reviews subject-matter accuracy before anything goes live.

Projects start at $1,500, and our rate is $30 an hour. Number of products, size of the competitor set, integration count and content volume move the quote. We do not promise rankings; we agree on pages to ship each month and track pipeline signals in your CRM. See also the US SEO pillar and our SaaS SEO guide.

Questions, answered

Should a SaaS company publish a page for each competitor?
Only for competitors that buyers actually compare you with, and only when you can be accurate and fair. Start with the top three to five, check them against search demand, and update them on a schedule.
Do you manage our G2 or Capterra profiles?
We review how the profiles read and align them with your site. Collecting reviews is your team's job, and it must follow review-site and FTC rules; we do not write or buy reviews.
How long before SaaS SEO produces demos?
Bottom-of-funnel pages for comparisons and integrations can move sooner than broad guides, but timing depends on your domain and competition. We set expectations in the first plan and report from your own data.
Can you work with our product-led growth funnel?
Yes. We map the signup and activation steps to the pages that feed them and work with your analytics setup. The aim is qualified signups, not traffic alone.
Do you need access to our product?
A trial or demo login helps us write accurately. For anything about security or data, we work from documents your team approves.
