In short

Liftup Technologies provides technical SEO for US websites, working remotely from India with an office in New York. We audit crawling, indexing, rendering, Core Web Vitals, structured data and site architecture, then write fixes as tickets your developers can ship or that we implement. Results show in your Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. A fixed quote follows a short call.

Five technical traps we see on US sites

Technical problems in the US often come from tools added for business reasons, such as privacy banners, personalization and ad tags. They solve a real need and can quietly damage search performance. This is what we check first.

TrapWhat goes wrongWhat we check or change
Geo-redirectsVisitors from one state or country are sent to another page, and Googlebot, which crawls mostly from US addresses, never sees the other versionsReplace forced redirects with a banner or a suggestion link, and use hreflang for real language or country versions
Consent bannersBanners that block rendering, shift the layout or hide content from crawlersLoad the banner without layout shift, and keep primary content in the HTML
Tag overloadA tag manager with dozens of marketing scripts slows responsivenessAudit tags with the business owner, remove dead ones and delay the rest
Thin state and city pagesHundreds of near-identical location pages with swapped namesMerge, noindex or rewrite them, and keep only pages with real local content
Parameter sprawlFilters, tracking parameters and session IDs create endless URLsCanonical rules, robots rules and cleaner internal links

The technical SEO service page lists the full audit scope, and the technical SEO checklist is the document we work from.

Core Web Vitals on American traffic

Google measures Core Web Vitals from real Chrome users, so your score reflects the phones and networks your own customers use. US visitors skew toward fast connections in cities and slower ones in rural areas, which is why we read the field data for your own site rather than test only on a lab connection. The three metrics we track are loading of the main content, layout stability and interaction responsiveness.

The biggest wins usually come from images, third-party scripts and heavy page-builder markup. We rank fixes by the number of URLs they affect and by effort, and we give your developers a ticket with an acceptance test for each. You can run our free Core Web Vitals check to see where a page stands before we talk.

Google and Bing together

Bing holds a larger share of search in the US than in most countries, especially on Windows desktops, and Microsoft Copilot draws on its index. That makes Bing Webmaster Tools worth the setup time. We verify the site, submit sitemaps and turn on IndexNow, which tells participating engines about new and changed URLs quickly. For stores and publishers with frequent updates, this helps new pages appear sooner.

We also check robots.txt for crawlers you might have blocked by accident, including the user agents of AI search tools, and agree with you which ones should be allowed. Our AI search optimization page for the US goes deeper.

Migrations and the US retail calendar

A platform change or redesign is the riskiest technical event for a site. Redirect maps, canonical tags, sitemaps and analytics all have to carry over. For US retailers we advise against launching a migration in the weeks around Black Friday, which is on 27 November in 2026, because a ranking dip then costs the most. The website migration checklist sets out the sequence we follow, including a crawl of the old site before launch and daily monitoring after it.

How we deliver, and the price

The audit comes first, then a ranked ticket list with the page counts affected. Developers on your side ship the changes, or we make them in your repository or CMS under your review. After each release we re-crawl, check Search Console and note what moved. If your engineers are in US time zones, we write tickets overnight so they are ready for the stand-up: a 9:30 a.m. Eastern stand-up is 20:00 in India in winter.

Projects start at $1,500, and our rate is $30 an hour. Site size, JavaScript rendering, number of templates and how much we implement ourselves decide the quote. A fixed quote follows a short call within one working day. See the US SEO pillar for the wider programme.

Questions, answered

Do you need access to our server?
Not always. Search Console access, a crawl and analytics are enough for an audit. For implementation we ask for the least access needed, such as the CMS or a code repository.
Will a consent banner hurt our rankings?
Not by itself. Problems come from banners that shift the layout, block the page or delay content. We test the banner for speed and visibility and adjust the settings or the tool.
Can you fix JavaScript rendering problems?
Yes. We check what Google sees through rendered HTML tests and Search Console. Fixes include server-side rendering, static generation or moving key content into the initial HTML.
How soon will we see changes?
Crawl and indexing changes can show in weeks, while ranking effects take longer and depend on competition. We report from your own Search Console, not from a ranking promise.
Do you work on a US site that also sells to Canada or the UK?
Yes. We set up hreflang, currency and canonical rules per version, and we avoid forced redirects by IP. See our international SEO service.
