SEO audit in Ireland

SEO audit for Irish websites

An audit should end with a short list of things to do, in order, with the reason for each. We review your site, Search Console and competitors, then hand over a plan your team or ours can carry out.

In short

Liftup Technologies provides SEO audits for Irish websites, working remotely from India. The audit covers technical health, content, links, local presence, and visibility in AI answers, using your Search Console data and a full crawl. You receive a scored report, a ranked fix list with effort estimates, and a walkthrough call in Irish hours. The audit is a fixed quote agreed after a short call.

What the audit covers

Audits that list two hundred warnings help nobody. We score five areas and then pick the handful of fixes that move results.

AreaQuestions we answerEvidence used
Technical healthCan search engines reach, render and index the right pages?Crawl, Search Console coverage, server logs if available
ContentDo pages match what buyers search, and are they better than rivals?Keyword data, SERP review, analytics
AuthorityWho links to you and who links to competitors?Backlink tools and manual review
Local and Irish signalsIs the business clear to Irish users and maps?Google Business Profile, listings, Eircode, .ie or hreflang setup
AI and answer enginesCan assistants read, trust and quote you?Crawler access test and question sample

Our SEO audit checklist shows the items in each area, and the SEO audit cost guide lists typical prices.

Ireland-specific checks

General audits miss local detail. For Irish sites we add checks that matter in this market.

  • Domain setup: a .ie site should have the www and non-www versions resolved, and any .com or .co.uk twin should redirect or carry correct hreflang. The .ie registry requires a connection to Ireland, and the rules are at weare.ie.
  • Northern Ireland: are sterling prices, delivery and legal text separated for that audience, and is en-GB used where it should be?
  • Business data: county, Eircode and phone format match across the site, Google Business Profile and directories.
  • Cookie consent: does the banner meet ePrivacy expectations, and how much traffic is missing from analytics because of declines?
  • Compliance pages: privacy notice, cookie list, company details and, for shops, returns terms visible and current.
  • Accessibility quick scan against WCAG 2.2 AA, since the European Accessibility Act now applies to many consumer services.

We do not give legal advice. We flag what to ask your solicitor, and the Data Protection Commission publishes guidance on cookies and data protection for Irish organisations.

For businesses that sell into Great Britain or the wider EU as well, we also check that currency, delivery and legal text match the page language, and that visitors from other countries are not sent into the wrong version by automatic redirects, which can also stop crawlers from seeing every version.

Reading the report

The report opens with a one-page summary: your score in each area, the three biggest problems, and the three biggest opportunities. Then comes the ranked fix list. Each item states what is wrong, where it is, why it matters, how to fix it, how long it takes and how we will know it worked. A developer can act on it without a meeting.

The walkthrough call covers the summary and your questions, and it is recorded for colleagues who could not attend. Calls are in your morning, because India is 5.5 hours ahead of Ireland in winter and 4.5 hours ahead in summer. If you want us to carry out the fixes, the fixed quote for that follows the call. If you prefer to use your own team, the report stands alone. A comparison with two or three named competitors is included, so you can see the gaps in context.

Sample items from a typical fix list show the level of detail. A shop may find that filtered category pages create thousands of near-duplicate URLs, so the fix names the parameters to block and the canonical rule to add. A professional firm may find that its service pages share one title pattern, so the fix gives a new title for each page. A software company may find that its pricing page is blocked from crawlers by a script, so the fix names the file and the change. Each item carries an owner suggestion, such as developer, copywriter or marketing, so work can be split across your team without a long meeting.

Who should buy an audit

An audit suits a site that has stalled, a business preparing a redesign or migration, a company that has changed agency, or a team that wants a second opinion before spending on content or links. It is a poor fit for a brand-new site with few pages, where a short launch check does the job.

Audits pair well with a follow-on programme. See our Irish SEO overview for ongoing work, and the technical SEO service for Ireland for deeper fixes.

Price and next step

Projects start at $1,500, with extra hours at $30. A small brochure site audit sits near the start, while shops with large catalogues, several countries or years of content take longer and cost more. The quote is fixed and in US dollars, and you see the scope before agreeing. Our SEO audit service page lists the deliverables in full.

Questions, answered

How long does an audit take?
Usually one to two weeks for a small site, depending on access to your data and the size of the site.
What access do you need?
Read access to Search Console and analytics, and the site address. We do not need to edit anything for an audit.
Will the audit promise a ranking?
No. It shows what holds you back and what to fix first. Results depend on competition, content and time.
Can you audit a site in several languages?
Yes. We check hreflang and each language version, with a reviewer for any language we do not read.
Is the audit free?
Our AI visibility checker is free for a first look. The full audit is a paid, fixed-price project.
