In short

Liftup Technologies runs SEO audits for Australian businesses, working remotely from India. We crawl the site, review technical health, content, local signals, links and AI search readiness, then deliver a ranked fix list and a walkthrough call. You can act on it yourself, give it to your developer, or ask us to do the work. A fixed quote follows a short call within one working day.

What an audit should tell you

A good audit answers three questions. What is stopping Google from finding and trusting your pages? Which pages should be earning enquiries but are not? And what should be done first? A long list of warnings from a tool does not answer these. We read the data, check the pages by hand, and give you a short, ordered plan.

We work to a version of our SEO audit checklist, adapted to your site type. A trades firm with service areas needs different checks from an online store or a software company.

What we check

AreaExamples of checksTypical finding
Crawling and indexingrobots.txt, sitemaps, noindex tags, canonicals, redirect chainsUseful pages excluded or duplicated
Speed and experienceCore Web Vitals, mobile layout, image size, script weightHeavy themes and unoptimized images
Content and intentPages matched to searches, thin or overlapping pagesSeveral pages competing for one term
On-page basicsTitles, headings, internal links, schemaGeneric titles and missing markup
Local signalsGoogle Business Profile, name, address, phone, service areasDetails differ across directories
LinksReferring domains, anchor mix, toxic patternsFew quality links or old spam
AI searchCrawler access, entity details, answer passagesFacts hidden in images or PDFs

Use the Core Web Vitals check for a quick public test before we begin. We run deeper tests on your key templates during the audit.

Australian points we look at

Search in Australia has its own habits. People type "near me" and suburb names, compare prices across states, and search with local vocabulary such as "tradie", "ute", "strata" or "conveyancer". We check whether your pages use the words your customers use, and whether state and suburb pages are real and useful or thin copies with the place name swapped.

  • Domain choice: .com.au is trusted locally, and auDA requires an Australian connection for it. If you run both a .com and a .com.au, we check that they do not compete or duplicate each other.
  • Business details: ABN, address and service areas should be consistent between the site, Google Business Profile and directories.
  • Compliance signals: a working privacy policy, honest claims under the Australian Consumer Law, and cookie and email consent that match how the site really behaves.
  • Seasonal pages: EOFY sales in June, Boxing Day and Click Frenzy often need stable URLs that are reused each year, and an audit shows if yours reset every time.
  • Regulated fields: health, legal and financial pages need clear authorship and credentials.

Our Australia SEO page covers how we approach ongoing work in this market.

How the audit runs

  1. AccessYou give read access to Search Console and analytics. No passwords or admin rights are needed.
  2. Crawl and reviewWe crawl the site, sample key pages by hand, and study your results for chosen searches.
  3. ReportYou get a written report with each issue, its evidence, and a priority.
  4. WalkthroughA call at a time that suits you, between your morning and early afternoon, covers the findings and questions.
  5. Next stepsYou choose whether to fix issues yourself, with your developer, or with us.

Time zones are easy to manage: 10:00 in India is 14:30 or 15:30 in Sydney and Melbourne depending on daylight saving, and 12:30 in Perth.

What you receive at the end

The report opens with a one-page summary in plain language: the five or six issues that matter most, what each is likely costing you, and the order we suggest. Behind it sit the details, with screenshots, affected URLs and the exact change needed, so a developer can act without a long briefing.

We also include a short list of quick wins that can be done in an afternoon, such as fixing a blocked sitemap, correcting a canonical tag or rewriting weak page titles on your top ten pages. For longer items, such as restructuring service pages or rebuilding a slow theme, we give a rough size and say whether a developer, a writer or both are needed.

If your business has several locations, for example clinics in Melbourne and Geelong or branches across Queensland, we review each location page and its Business Profile separately. Shared text across location pages is one of the most common problems we see, and the fix is to add real local detail such as team members, parking, nearby landmarks and suburb-specific services.

Pricing

Audits start at $1,500 and our rate is $30 an hour. The price depends on the number of pages, whether it is a store or a catalog, the number of languages or locations, and how deep you want the link and AI search sections. The quote is fixed and given within one working day of a short call. The SEO audit cost guide lists what drives the range, and the SEO audit service page lists scope.

Beware of audits that are free and automated. They are mainly a way to sell you a service. A paid audit should leave you with a plan you can use, whoever does the fixing.

Questions, answered

Will the audit show why we are not ranking?
It will show the likeliest causes, with evidence. Ranking also depends on competition and time, so we say what is fixable and what takes longer.
Do you need our site passwords?
No. Read-only access to Search Console and analytics is usually enough. If a staging site is involved, we use a limited account you can remove.
Can you fix the issues too?
Yes, if you want. Fixes are quoted separately, so you are never tied to us by the audit.
How long does it take?
Small sites take a few days to a couple of weeks. Larger stores take longer. The quote includes a delivery date.
Is the audit useful before a redesign?
Very. It shows which pages and URLs to protect. See our website migration checklist for what to prepare.
