In short

Liftup Technologies provides technical SEO for UK websites, working remotely from India with an office in Coventry. We crawl the site, check indexing in Search Console, test Core Web Vitals, review structured data and hreflang, and deliver a ranked list of fixes with tickets your developers can act on. Consent tools and tracking are reviewed too. You get a fixed quote within one working day of a short call.

What a technical review looks at

Technical SEO is the plumbing: can Google reach your pages, understand them and decide to index them. Problems here cap the return from everything else. A UK site with great content and a broken canonical setup will be outranked by a plainer competitor.

  • Crawling: robots.txt, XML sitemaps, internal links, redirect chains and server errors.
  • Indexing: pages excluded in Search Console, duplicate content, canonical tags and noindex use.
  • Rendering: whether JavaScript hides content or links from the crawler.
  • Speed: Core Web Vitals on real mobile devices, not only lab scores.
  • Structured data: product, organisation, article and local business markup that matches visible content.
  • Security and hygiene: HTTPS, mixed content, status codes and clean URLs.

Our public technical SEO checklist shows the same list, and the technical SEO service page covers the scope.

Most audits find the same handful of costly problems: parameter URLs indexed by accident, redirect chains left over from an old migration, a sitemap listing pages that redirect, and templates that serve the same title to hundreds of pages. Fixing these is rarely glamorous, but it is where UK sites most often recover lost traffic.

Google applies its consent requirements to users in the EEA and the UK for products such as advertising. If you run ads, we check that your consent signals reach Google tags correctly. Read UK SEO for the wider programme.

Core Web Vitals and UK mobile traffic

Most UK searches now happen on phones, often on mobile data on a train or in a queue. Google measures real user experience through the Chrome UX Report, with Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint and Cumulative Layout Shift as the main signals. A fast lab score on a developer's laptop does not prove real users see the same speed.

We test from field data where your site has enough traffic and from lab runs where it does not. The usual culprits are oversized images, unoptimised fonts, tag manager bloat, consent scripts and third-party widgets. We list each with its weight and a fix. You can try our Core Web Vitals check first.

How findings reach your developers

  1. Audit and prioritiseEach issue gets an impact rating, an effort estimate and the URLs affected.
  2. Write ticketsOne ticket per fix with steps, acceptance checks and screenshots, in the format your team uses.
  3. Support the releaseWe answer questions in your channel and review the change on staging before it goes live.
  4. Re-crawl and verifyAfter release we crawl again and check Search Console for movement.

If you have no developer, we can implement fixes ourselves on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and Next.js, with your approval.

Working hours and reporting

We work from India, and UK time is 5.5 hours behind in winter and 4.5 hours behind in summer. Calls are booked between 09:00 and 13:00 UK time. You receive a written report after the audit, a short update each week while fixes are in progress, and a re-check summary after launch. Findings come from your own Search Console and crawl data, so you can verify them.

If your team uses a ticket system such as Jira or Linear, we work inside it. If not, we send a spreadsheet with one row per fix and a status column that both sides update.

Pricing

Projects start at $1,500, and extra work is $30 an hour. Site size, platform, JavaScript complexity, number of templates and whether we implement the fixes decide the quote. A small brochure site sits at the start of the range. A large store or multi-language site takes more crawl and review time. See the SEO cost guide and the SEO audit page for a lighter starting point.

Questions, answered

How long does a technical SEO review take?
A small site takes about a week. Larger sites take two to three weeks. The plan comes with the quote.
Do you fix the problems or only list them?
Both are available. We deliver tickets for your developers, or we implement the fixes on supported platforms.
Will fixing technical issues raise rankings?
It removes barriers. Rankings depend on content, links and competition too, so we do not promise positions.
Do you test Core Web Vitals on real users?
Yes, using field data when available, and lab tests when not.
How does cookie consent affect SEO?
Consent does not block Google from crawling, but a heavy banner can slow pages and hide content. We review how yours loads.
Do I keep the reports?
Yes. Reports, tickets and crawl files are yours.
