In short

Liftup Technologies builds iOS and Android apps for Spanish businesses, working remotely from India. We use React Native or Flutter for one shared codebase, localize the app for Spanish users, set up privacy disclosures for the app stores and publish under your own accounts. Projects start at $1,500, and a fixed quote follows a short call.

When an app is the right answer in Spain

Many Spanish businesses asking for an app need a better mobile site first. An app makes sense when customers use you repeatedly: bookings, loyalty cards, orders, member areas, field work or deliveries. It makes little sense for a brochure.

The decision is often between a web app that installs from the browser and a store app. Our PWA vs native app comparison sets out the trade-offs, and web apps in Spain covers the browser route.

Ask three questions before commissioning an app. Will people open it at least weekly? Does it need the camera, notifications, location or offline use? Can you support it after launch? If the answer to all three is no, a fast mobile website is the better first step.

What we build

App typeTypical Spanish useNotes
Booking and appointmentsClinics, salons, sports clubs, restaurantsReminders by push or email, cancellation rules in the app
Customer loyaltyShops, cafes, hospitality groupsCard or QR identifier, points rules, consent for marketing
Ordering and deliveryLocal retail and foodPayment by card or wallet; Bizum depends on your provider
Field and staff toolsInstallers, cleaning, logisticsOffline mode for patchy signal, photo upload, signatures
Member and event appsAssociations, congresses, clubsLogin, schedule, notifications, ticket check-in

We build with React Native or Flutter so iOS and Android share most of the code. A fully native build is possible when the app needs deep device features, and we say so during scoping.

The back end matters as much as the screens. Most apps need accounts, a database, an admin panel for your team and an API. We scope these together with the app so the quote covers the whole product, not just the part users see.

Localization and store listings

The app should feel Spanish from the first screen: es-ES text, euro formatting, day-month-year dates, 24-hour times, and the vocabulary of Spain. If you serve Catalonia, the Basque Country or Galicia, add those languages to the first release or plan the structure so they can be added without a rewrite.

App store listings need their own care. The title, subtitle and description in Spanish affect how the app appears in store search, and screenshots should show the Spanish interface. Apple and Google both require privacy disclosures that describe what data the app collects, and these must match the app's real behavior.

Privacy, consent and payments

  • GDPR and the LOPDGDD, supervised by the AEPD, apply to user accounts, location, push tokens and analytics. We ask for permissions only when the feature needs them, and explain why in Spanish.
  • Analytics and advertising identifiers need consent in the EU. We wire the consent screen to the SDKs so nothing fires early.
  • In-app purchases of digital goods follow the store's own payment rules. Physical goods and services can use card payments and other providers, depending on what the store allows.
  • Accessibility: the European Accessibility Act covers some consumer services, including parts of ecommerce. We follow platform accessibility guidance such as labels, text scaling and contrast.

None of this is legal advice. Your lawyer confirms what applies. We document the data flows so that the review is quick.

Both stores also expect a working privacy policy URL and a way for users to delete their account. We build account deletion into the app from the start, since Apple requires it for apps that create accounts.

How a project runs from India

  1. ScopeOne call, a feature list ranked by need, and a fixed quote within one working day.
  2. DesignKey screens in Spanish, tested as a clickable prototype.
  3. Build in sprintsA working build on your phone every week through TestFlight and Google Play internal testing.
  4. TestReal devices, poor connections and a pass through the store review rules.
  5. Publish and hand overRelease under your Apple and Google developer accounts, then documentation and source code.

We schedule demos in the Spanish morning. Apple's review can take days, so we build that into the timeline.

Price

Projects start at $1,500, and extra work is $30 an hour. Screens, integrations, user roles, offline mode and the back end behind the app move the price. The store fees for Apple and Google developer accounts are paid by you directly. Use the contact page for a fixed quote. Prices are in US dollars.

Questions, answered

Do I need separate iOS and Android apps?
Usually not. React Native or Flutter lets us ship both from one codebase. We use separate native code only for features that need it.
Who owns the app and the store accounts?
You do. We ask you to create the Apple and Google developer accounts, and we publish with the access you grant.
Can the app include Bizum payments?
That depends on your payment provider and what the store rules allow for the type of item. We check with the provider before promising it.
How long does it take?
A focused first version usually takes a couple of months, depending on features. Store review adds a few days.
Do you maintain the app after launch?
Yes, as a separate arrangement at $30 an hour, for operating system updates, fixes and new features.
Can you take over an app someone else built?
Yes, after a code review. We check the quality, the dependencies and whether you hold the store accounts, then recommend a fix or a rewrite.
